oakland police are calling for help in the event of the shooting. investigators tell us that officers responded to the king estates campus in the past couple of months. it is one of four schools there. the organization has a violence interrupter on the campus who works on deescalating incidents. that person is following leads from within the school. >> from e-mails, text emergency, videos and trying to make sure what happened here doesn't spill off into others. they are reviewing video of the shooting where at least two suspects could be seen.

low to mid 80's in the warmest location and fog hanging to the coast but warm weather in the forecast. liz: developing news this morning burlingame police are investigating a crash overnight saying two people were in the crosswalk at california drive and oak grove avenue when it happened. both were taken to a hospital where within died. the other is in critical condition. the driver took off but did come back and is cooperating with the investigation. law enforcement agencies will be required to screen applicants for ties to late groups and it will be easier to fire them. the clear act was signed into low by governor newsom. we heard from key players who pushed to get it passed. >> the effort to enhance kphraoupb trust was signed. the law enforcement accountability reform act or clear act was crafted by an

apology after being removed because of prefer psychological exams. sanchez put out a statement saying in part it is my hope we can earn back the trust of our agency members, community and those who seek employment in this noble profession. the deputies are being administered a new exam. police in stockton say a string of homicides the last three months may be connected but they are not sure if they were by one person or multiple people. there are similarities in five killings that happened since early july. the victims were all shot to death and investigators say they were each alone at the time they were killed and homicides happened in the evening or early morning hours. stockton police released a surveillance photo of an individual they have identified as a person of interest. the city is offering a $75,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. a person was robbed of her life

cloak and beat her. her home was ransack and her entire life savings were stolen. skylar said it was traumatic for her and her family but she wanted to speak out to raise awareness about this crime for elderly asian americans. additional video from a dash cam shows the three exit with arm fulls of stolen goods. the investigation is ongoing and there have been cases where suspects dress unlike utility workers in the past. liz: governor newsom this week extended california covid-19 supplemental pasic leave policy. he signed assembly bill 152 which extends employers with 26 or more employees obligations to give them sick pay. the paid sick leave policy is set to expire at the end of this year. in the east bay bart is lifting the facemask mandate on train services after today.
