been confirms. we found the four people from the kidnapping and they are in fact, deceased. >> the breaking news truly terrible discovery. for family members including an eight-month-old girl found dead after being taken against their will. the main suspect is now talking. you for joining us, i'm dan ashley. >> the merced county sheriffs's office gave an update hours ago after spending the past two days trying to locate the family. >> tim johns is in the newsroom with the latest on the tragic discovery. >> during that news conference the sheriffs office said they had gotten a call around 5:30 this evening about bodies discovered near does palos. the investigation is far from over. the bodies were found in an orchard in a rural part of the county. the family members, a husband, his wife, their eight-month-old

child and an uncle were kidnapped from a business monday. >> there are no words to describe the anger i feel and the senselessness of this incident. i said earlier, there is a special place for the sky. >> they shared surveillance video, taken just outside the newly opened trucking company and shows two men's with their hands zipped tight behind their backs. >> it is something nobody is prepared to deal with. we are hoping and praying every moment. >> relatives of the family spoke to the community. >> we are devastated, shocked, we are dying every moment. >> a suspect was taken into custody tuesday but was under medical sedation for a period of time after trying to take his own life. the merced county sheriff said he was awake and talking with authorities. the sheriff stressing this is still an active investigation. >> what we are dealing with

concerns of hispanic farmworkers who attended this wednesday night community crime meeting in stockton, concerns at a time when police say there is a possible real killer linked to six murders. five end stockton and one in oakland. five of the six victims were hispanic. >> emiliano is a farmworker. when -- who leaves his home early in the morning. he is fearful for himself and his loved ones who work in the fields. >> my family, my sister, my brother, >> others have similar worries. >> yesterday a lot of neighbors came and talked to me to see what are we going to do about this? that is why i am here. >> stockton police chief and

school located on the same king estates campus. the principal says the teachers and staff are addressing safety concerns directly with parents and students. there is added security on the campus. the high school remains closed and no arrests have been made in the shooting. >> new developments in alameda county, 12 of 47 deputies found unsuitable to serve returned to work today after retaking the psychological test they previously failed. they gathered outside the sheriff's office managing none of the deputies be rehired. the 47 deputies were stripped of weapons and badges last month. they received an -- unsatisfactory scores on psychological exams, some tests back from 2016. >> drug deals on city streets will not be tolerated. that is the message today in san francisco. aggressive new measures to hold drug dealers and users accountable.

san francisco police have made more than 260 felony arrests for narcotics sales. they also seized 28 kilograms of narcotics including 18 kilograms of fentanyl. mayor, police chief, along with supervisor, all agree that those arrests have to be backed up with charges and convictions. >> there has to be accountability. we cannot be the city where people think they can come to san francisco or if they live in san francisco, and do whatever they please. >> she says her office has filed more than 180 narcotics sales cases since july 1. charges don't tell the whole story but they do illustrate authorities are taking a more aggressive approach and they are taking this issue very seriously, she says. >> a goal to transform transit and a booming neighborhood of san francisco. officials are reimagining a close to 20 acre site near oracle park from fort street to
