against caroline. that is your look at sports. let's send it back to you. alright chris. thank you. let's get a check now on the forecast with meteorologist francis stinglasson francis. hi karina morning everyone. we are waking up to a lot of widespread low clouds, but the fog is not as dense. so right now visibility is actually better than it was yesterday around this time. santa rosa goes down to two miles napa five miles half moon bay six miles, whereas yesterday was just totally socked in live look from emeryville out towards
9:50 am
the low clouds over the bay bridge and san francisco most temperatures in the 50 san francisco 54 oakland 57, but san jose is already up to 60 degrees right now and as we check out san jose, you'll see it's also great there and temperatures are starting to climb but santa rosa has been one of the cooler spots this morning currently. it's at 50. it was in the upper 40s, novato 57 backville already at 66 degrees. so inland neighborhoods, we'll
9:51 am
get more sunshine and warm up to slightly above average temperatures from mount. ham. we see some shine and blue skies, and they're the low clouds creeping over the bay area. so we're dealing with that fog and even some coastal drizzle karina had some sprinkles on her this morning. mostly sunny. the breeze will pick up this afternoon and so temperatures will be coming down a few degrees for some neighborhoods. and then we have a fairly steady pattern throughout the week. not much change in the accuweather seven day forecast. so here's my latest forecast animation that i want to show you what you'll notice. is that this afternoon the clouds will pull back to the coast. once again, you see those areas of green still some drizzle possible there near point race, but as we zoom in to san francisco, we do see the clouds still coming in right through the marina area and definitely through the sunset district, but it just doesn't look as thick and dense. so i'm hoping it'll be a little bit better for the blue angels life this afternoon. although it will still be out there winds today will range from 15 to 25 miles per hour and especially in san francisco. we'll breezy so grab a jacket temperatures are actually a little bit cooler than average and here's how it plays out today. so during the next few hours in the 50s will only be climbing to the mid-60s during the three o'clock hour then notice after that temperatures quickly start to cool down once again and around the bay temperatures will be low 60s at the beaches and inland areas only in the mid 80s today. so some of our warmest spots
