of august has around 2000 workers pushed to increase staffing and improve access to care, but the union representing health care workers says this milestone comes as negotiations have still failed to produce an agreement. they claim patients are routinely waiting six to eight weeks between sessions that should be weekly. they are asking for more hours per week to respond to patient e lackme there are evenes, and longer waits for therapy appointments. in a statement on their website, etg er saidio amatically reduce access to mental health care for our members. in the meeting, they even acknowledged that their proposals will reduce the number of mental health care appointments. that is why workers are bringing their concerns to kaiser's headquarters for a demonstration in oakland, starting at 11:00 read they are bringing patients,
