were bright that fog came back quickly and as we look outside right now, look, how dark it. is that sun not coming up for another 30 minutes setting at 6:30. that's 11 hours and 11 minutes of daylights. of course those days getting longer, but we're not cooling off. we're pretty mild in the low 60s, san francisco palo alto 63 in san jose and as we look at the shark tank, you can see the gray sky here temperatures back up into the low 70s today for many of you and looking at 59 santa rosa 63 napa concord. livermore is at 61 or 24 hour temperature change and keeps this on the mild side with five to seven degrees milder than yesterday that cloud cover. not letting the temperatures drop when we get the clear sky we have seen those temperatures in the 40s couple nights ago in our north bay valleys. we don't have that in the forecast for the next few days, but you can see the bridge from the distance of the visibility underneath the low cloud deck pretty good as the bases are higher out there.

so plenty of clouds this morning cooler than average for today and tomorrow so mainly 60s and 70s 80s return with the warmest days being tuesday and wednesday low clouds and fog pulling back. it's staying gray for parts of mill valley the east bay shore el cerrito along the peninsula redwood city getting some sun, but right along the coast looking kind of dicey there san carlos partly cloudy. otherwise, we'll get into the warmer pattern. it's high pressure begins to build in allowing for the sunnier afternoons and our inland valleys, but we'll call it partly cloudy for your monday and you can see high and mid-level clouds continue to visit us into tuesday as well. here's a look at the absence of rain. now. this is a outlook for the next six days and as we get going into tuesday remember, this is our milder days is high pressure builds in so that storm spreads track splitting that trough to the south and you can see some rain to the north, but as we get into thursday friday, we had hoped we were going to see some

rain and then by next weekend, you can see it continues to evade us and the rest of california in the south bay 68 milpitas look for a returned some cooler than average numbers by about five degrees in san jose 71 for you 67 in millbrae as well as mountain view with that seabreeze in the afternoon. the clouds just low 60s at the coast 65 downtown a couple degrees below average, but more like five degrees below average here in the north bay 70 petaluma and sonoma so feeling like fall certainly here. you head up towards sonoma boy. it did not clear yesterday though. it was chilly for much of sonoma 67 in oakland san leandro union city with upper 60s in castro valley. you had inland were a couple degrees warmer with 74 in concord and livermore this afternoon overnight lows. we're back into the 50s with the cloud deck up pervasive all the way across the bay area and the accuweather seven day forecast. we've got mid 70s to upper 70s
6:51 am
so both today and tomorrow we are below average inland and around the bay staying pretty consistent along the coast with 60s there tuesday and wednesday we get into higher pressure more warmth, but we don't have those offshore winds. so certainly a good thing we get into the latter part of the work week and we will cool off. so certainly we're doing well without the critical fire danger here locally. yeah, exactly. it's the most important thing. yeah. i like the end of the forecast feels like fall on saturday. yeah. i love that. i'm always looking ahead to the next saturday off that saturday too. good. thank you lisa. right. well thanks to millions of dollars in state funding san jose state university is one step closer to building its new
