kumasi: the white house claims to reveal its plan to lower gas prices. president biden is expected to make the announcement along with the series of steps to bring relief at the pump. justin finch has the details. >> america are paying less on average to fill up their gas tanks, today the white house is expected to roll up its plan to bring even more relief to u.s. households. >> should the president not to

everything he can to lower prices? should he not continue to keep his promise to give american people a little bit of breathing room? >> president biden is expected to authorize the release of 15 million barrels. the final dispersal of the 180 million barrels the president pledged in march from the nation's stockpile. but critics say the 15 million barrels isn't enough considering the u.s. consumes about 20 million barrels per day. that last round of reserve oil do for release in december after the midterm elections. >> i think the key story is, is the administration doing as much as we can to help increase the energy supply and i think the answer is unequivocally yes. they should be talking about how much things cost at the supermarket, at the gas pump, how people ill and safe on the street. republicans fine-tuning their

they demanded is her address staffing shortages. they saw a surge of demand during the pandemic. the national union of health care workers says the agreement will benefit kaiser permanente patients. at the same time recognizing better mental health support therapists and their work. it is estimated some 20,000 patients would be affected by the strike. the ratification vote on the four-year contract started last night. it's expected to take two days and it's not clear when everyone will return to work. reggie: if you have a nonemergency or outpatient procedure plant, you may need to reschedule. the strike includes doctors working at valley medical center, o'connor hospital, saint
