there in portland medford. 2800 crescent city will get about 2/10 of an inch tahoe 700s here in the bay area. it's going to amount to nothing measurable. maybe a few hundreds. now the bigger concern is the winds kicking up which will raise the fire danger saturday afternoon for the north and east bay hills and again sunday afternoon evening. so keep that in mind as we do have a really dry fuels out there and then the humidity will be dropping with those gusty winds developing on live doppler 7. we are seeing a mix of low and higher clouds tomorrow afternoon if it wasn't cool enough for you today. we're going to drop those temperatures even more for parts of the bay area wendy. coastside breezy inland lowe's 60s to mid 70s. well below average for this time of year and when you look at the accuweather seven day forecast, i'd say it's sweater or jacket weather for the weekend. definitely. will be a breezy to windy one possibility of a few damp roadways tomorrow, but the fire danger will be increasing followed by the chill early monday morning, and then we will go with another possibility of a

few showers between tuesday night and wednesday on indian. interesting. yes. thanks, andy. all right talking about good stuff 49ers making big move. all right, larry. this is really good and it's interesting because the family connections years ago 49ers coach. kyle shanahan was actually assigned to babysit christian mccaffrey. that's how tight the families were little did either no back then they'd be working together as adults with the niners making a monster deal for the protailback wants to play on sunday. sunday. that in a recent clinical study, patients using salonpas patch reported reductions in pain severity, using less or a lot less oral pain medicines. and improved quality of life. that's why we recommend salonpas. it's good medicine.

beale good evening. this should be fun 49ers making their intentions quite clear. they think they have a super bowl contending team and they are going for it. all in and that's why they gave up four draft picks to land electrifying tailback christian mccaffrey the stanford man who landed back in the bay area today the subminer faithful christian mccaffrey here just touched down and i can't tell you how excited i am fired up. i can't wait to get to work.
6:52 pm
let's go mccaffrey took a physical got his uniform. he'll wear 23 here instead of his usual 22 worked out with some coaches on the side after the niners regular practice mccaffrey basically has today and tomorrow to try to digest as much of kyle shanahan's playbook as possible in order to really give him a chance to play on sunday. he really wants to play but come on. he's a stand for guy studying should not be an issue here mccaffrey eager to fit in with his new team, but how could you not want to play here, you know as an offensive weapon. i'm extremely fired up obviously have a little bit of a history coach shanahan and just yeah can't express how happy i am to be here. it did take a lot to get him. but i think he's he's worthy of that and he's that kind of player. he's a extremely versatile player. is an explosive football player? he's a smart football match go on and on and he checks all the boxes. he also has very good hands. he also has i'm separation ability. i'm in the past game and i also think he's a guy just mentally

who can handle a lot. so the more guys can handle the more you put on them just my job to learn as much as humanly possible in the next two days and get ready to play football game. he flies into the end zone people are gonna go crazy levi stadium if he does that on sunday when we last saw bruce bochy in uniform, it was the last day of his giants managerial career. that was 2019 big party at oracle park for the three-time world champion. the question was would beauja for manage again. well today we got our answer. yes, the 67 year old boshi agreeing to a three-year deal to manage the lowly, texas rangers taking over a club that has not finished over 500 in six years new rangers gm chris young actually played for bocce in 2006 his final year in san diego boaty becomes the third man to manage a team that he previously beat in the world series. she's introductory news conference will be on monday warriors back in action tonight hosting a team expected to challenge them for first place

in the western conference. they tip off against the denver nuggets in just a few minutes klay thompson has talked a lot about enjoying october basketball because these are his first october games since 2019 maria the two catastrophic injuries and even though he thoroughly appreciates the new multi-level championship rings with all the bling plays already got his hidden away. just another superhero level day for clay. where is your most recent championship ring right now? it is in a safe in a secret location. like a bat cave pretty much back here. that's funny. like batman being able to take the boat to work, you know, it's like the batboat. yeah. a boat mobile boats to carts october 21st 2006 cows marshawn lynch scored the game-winning touchdown on ot against the washington huskies, but nobody remembers that they remember this after the game a pumped up marshawn commandeered the injury cart and went driving all around memorial stadium. they actually made a bobblehead

of this moment a few years ago best injury card ride ever so much fun. just seeing that. all right. so let's get to a few christian mccaffrey things here because i mean such a dynamic weapon one of the things that that happened is the niners said to give all these picks because they wanted to make sure that he did not go to the rams. that was the big fear. the rams are used to just trading away draft picks. we don't need them. we don't need them. let's get bonafide real players. right? one. other thing is drake greenlaw linebacker for the 49ers has already issued a public apology niners played carolina a couple weeks ago and apparently dre was talking a little smack. and so he said sorry about that from a couple weeks ago. can't wait to meet you buddy. so, you know, yeah, we're gonna get along really great. yeah. he sounds fantastic. he's just stay healthy. stay healthy. stay healthy. all right coming up tonight on abc 78. it's shark tank followed by 2020 at 9:00, then don't miss abc 7 news at 11.

finally this friday a few thoughts about what really matters up there right now history is being made and it zips by us every 90 seconds. that's how long it takes the international space station to orbit the earth and on board nicole mann the first native american woman in space from the iss on wednesday. she said she is overwhelmed by both of beauty and the delicacy of mother earth. perhaps what she is seeing and experiencing. we'll get a little less thrilling by hurt the time her stay on the space station is finished five months from now, but i'll bet not. i think it's still going to be a thrill. what a privilege it must be to see our planet from that vantage point. and what a privilege it is to watch her make history from our vantage point. more these days where marking these important milestones in all walks of life from science to the c-suite to sports and politics barriers are coming down and what really matters
