events. and i had shared that with my staff because it's happened in other states. and it looks like that's what's happened today. dion: in fact, multiple bay area schools had reports of an active shooter threat. that was determined to be a swatting situation as it's called when someone called in a fake threat to cause mass chaos. santa cruz police say today's false report caused extreme stress and counselors are available to speak with students and staff. dan: san jose police are asking for help to catch the person who hit a grandmother and a toddler. you could see a pedestrian push ago stroll we are a 3 year-old inside. a car comes speeding through the intersection, knocks the woman and the child to the ground. and just keeps going. both victims suffered injuries. but both are said to be recovering, thank goodness. that car is identify as a gray,
