potential. we'll show that to you in just a moment as we look at live doppler 7 the pacific northwest looking at good deal of rain. as we look at the cloudy exploratorium camera 54 degrees in san francisco. lots of fogs still out there with 57 in san jose and our dense fog advisory lifting and we're getting better visib. the up in santa rosa but in our east bay and along the coast it is still sucked in looking at the north bay from novato down through san rafael a very foggy napa still a quarter of a mile and you can see livermore one to two miles out towards concord and nothing along the coast there. so it's going to get a little bit lower and then scatter out that temperature dew point spread not very far. so the air is reaching saturation and that's of course or it is saturated. well, we have the fog out there little milder on the peninsula the south bay and taking to the sunny spot here in santa cruz where we have brighter conditions along the central coast temperatures in the upper 60s today here, but foggy and

9:19 am
maybe a few isolated showers into wednesday. here's a look at that rainfall potential maybe a third of an inch in oakland a little bit better. hopefully the peninsula maybe upper elevations for tents and weeks worth of snow. i should say this weekend and perhaps next weekend maybe tuesday. wednesday of the upcoming week into next week could bring us foota snow from kirkwood close to that in donner 66, san mateo palo alto 70 in vallejo today. so looking at that sunny afternoon taking you into tomorrow where we've got dry conditions for the evening mainly in the 50s for everyone little bit milder perhaps in our inland valley, so it'll be typically cool dry level one system a week one tuesday and wednesday. it's a quick mover and we'll bring in the chili conditions after that breezy winds. so definitely gonna feel like november. it's certainly does and thanksgiving just a few weeks away time change next weekend. that's right. maybe turn on the heat, too.

was walking her district door knocking and then we're gonna walk up that way. i have walked my entire district once at least once and now i'm on my second go-round again, and the number one thing that people are concerned about is the financial well-being of the district and that's where we need to keep our focus on our campaign flyer. jensen talks about the abcs which she describes as accountability back to basics and children first what's not obvious from reading it is that jensen is one of the most vocal conservative activists in marin county. she actively campaigned a recall governor gavin newsome has organized protests against the covid mandates. it's segregationists. it's discriminatory and threatened to boycott businesses in novato that required showing proof of vaccination. i am on record as being against coat the covid vaccine. okay? i don't believe that's needed. no, i'm not. and i don't believe that kids should be forced to get no. no young people have died of covid in marin county, but they have guys suicide.

what's motivating her to run not social issues, but those are the issues that are firing up school boards across the country particularly issues around lgbtq+ students school boards and states have been enacting legislation to restrict students from talking about these issues removing protections for transgender students even closing student newspapers for publishing pride issues. as for jensen, she says she opposes the district flying the lgbtq+ flag during pride month, which the current board approved during this meeting in may what the district is setting itself up for is if somebody wants to come in and fly a flag, then they are going to have to let them and it could be the satanic flag. it could be the don't tread on me flag. well you comparing lgbtq+ issues to the satanic flag and the rainbow flag to the satanic flag. how about the don't tread on me flag? how about the how about a trump flag? how about the russian. how about the russia? how about the russian flag? jensen went on to say books about transgender people should

don't think it's biologically possible and i don't think i think your your line to kids. kids are you're either a boy or a girl you don't believe in transgender? no, it's it's horrifying among those living in the district. jensen hopes to win is suzanne ford a trans woman who is the executive director of san francisco pride is a book about a young child transitioning appropriate. no ford was hurt and outraged when we showed her jensen's comments that she could equate being lgbtq with mental illness in children is is insane ford says she feels jensen has not been up front about these beliefs during her campaign. i do think they they don't want everyone to know what her real views are. that's why it's so important that we do these interviews with with politicians and people running for office. we need to know what they really believe at the beginning of their careers and hopefully we can make it a real referendum on those beliefs dr. hill says it's hard to how well candidates like jensen will do in the november
