this interactive proposition voter guide is at abc 7 news.com/election. it shows the arguments for and against each measure and has helpful breakdown video so you can make your vote count. a string of violence in less than three hours overnight has led to at least two deaths se.ay this morning. a witness says it all happened during a halloween themed birthday party. about one hour earlier, san jose officers responded to kaufman court. two men were taken to the hospital, suffering from gunshot wounds p one of those victims died. at this point, police are not releasing any details about those shootings. in addition to those two incidents, san jose police responded to a double stabbing downtown just after 1:00 this morning. it happened on 1st street near the convention center. two men were taken to the hospital and police say one was in critical condition while the other was not seriously hurt.

two americans are among those who died saturday during a deadly crowd surge in seoul, south korea. deirdre has details about what led up to the deadly stampede. >> south korean president -- declared a period of national mourning, saying this is truly tragic, a tragedy, and disaster that should not have happened, took place in the heart of seoul last night. more than 100,000 people gathered in seoul for an evening of halloween festivities. while halloween is not a traditional holiday in south korea, it has become popular in recent years with young adults. this was the largest halloween gathering since the pandemic began. as the crowd converged in a narrow sloped alley, the scene quickly arrested into chaos. >> i saw -- erupted into chaos. >> i saw this mass of people moving fast and screaming and
