6:19 am
from the north bay 53 in san francisco 54 in oakland, san jose 52 santa clara and beautiful shot here from our roof camera. you can see all the colors 640 sunrise 43 a mile and a quarter visibility in santa rosa with 45 in novato 5. you in livermore so our 24 hour temperature change. look how much colder with that clear sky 10 to 12 degrees chillier colder along the coast. otherwise not a big change for the peninsula east bay and south bay. there's a look at sutro with more cloud cover and that's why you're about the same temperature. so cloudy and cool today the rain holding off till about 9 o'clock tonight in the north bay sweeping through the bay area right around midnight in the south bay and then looking at more rain the accumulated rain picking up. so those downpours with the colder air behind the system monday, maybe some hail into tuesday and as we look at our storm impact scale, this is going to come in tonight and keep it going monday this level
6:20 am
one system exclusive to abc 7. so several of them right on through tuesday and wednesday things begin to quiet down. so starting out with a few pockets of clear sky and then the high and mid-level clouds continue to increase stopping this at 11 o'clock tonight where the front has pushed through the north bay continues to sink to the south and the east you can see that rain sweeping through early. monday doesn't look too bad, right, but just wait we're gonna get the pockets of the downpours throughout the afternoon the cold air the blustery winds temperatures as much as five to eight degrees. cooler and then here comes that low and we can get even heavier rain your tuesday morning commute looking pretty sloppy here, and we're going to see not only the chance of thunderstorms, but the rainfall may be creating some nuisance flooding and could see some snowy peaks around mount hamilton even mount diablo's that cold air moves in but most of the rainfall is over by that time. so we're looking at pretty dynamic event as we look through
6:21 am
the next several days rainfall'n inch of raioe thrersf the peninsula benr an inch possibly two inches and our winter storm warning tonight right on through wednesday travel not advised gusty winds and these snow totals. i think maybe a little conservative as we go through this accumulated snowfall check it out. this is a pretty big deal here with anywhere from four five. look at kirkwood. they always do well in the south. they're 62 inches that sounds unreal has today in the 60s cloudy the rain arriving late tonight the accuweather 7-day forecast are level one system with the cooler air monday possibility a thunderstorms through tuesday, and then by wednesday, we're clearing up and as we get to the end of the week, we could be tracking more rain into saturday. so very exciting. that is exciting. all right, lisa. thank you. just had a walk for a great cause how much money we help raise for alzheimer's treatment and awareness.
