coverage for you as the bay area preps for several wet days ahead. let's begin with abc 7 news weather anchor spencer christian and spencer you say the wave of rain starts tonight. it's building right now down up in the north bay. it's going to be swinging southward and eastward doing the overnight hours to look at the exclusive abc 7 storm impact scale. so for the next two days, here's what we can expect rain tonight and into the early morning hours and maybe even some trailing showers during the day moving from north to south more rain developers late tomorrow that will continue into tuesday election day producing raw and rainy conditions. here's our forecast animation notice the arrival of that wave of rain, that will pass through probably just after midnight movie down into the south bay a little bit of a break then more showers and periods of rain tomorrow before a second wave. of stronger heavier steadier rain comes in tomorrow night into tuesday. there'll be enough instability in the atmosphere. we might even see an isolated thunderstorm or two tomorrow and tuesday and wallace raining here. it'll be snowing heavily in the sierra more on that later when i

are investigating 11 cases since october 9th. burglaries happened during dinner time hours between 7 and 9 pm often on friday and saturday nights when the homeowners aren't there the suspects usually get in by smashing glass doors and backyards. is best friday the thieves got away with a locked gun safe with nine firearms inside officers have increased patrols including plain clothes officers in targeted neighborhoods. sideshows and gunfire rolled across the bay area overnight starting in vallejo activity went on for about 20 minutes in the area of columbus and ascot parkway before police broke it up officers also respond to this side show in hayward witnesses say shots were fired when the sideshow was dispersed by three officers. gunfire rang out during this side show in rodeo and in a fourth location in richmond police broke up another street
