[laughter] drew: we will talk about the messy morning we have, we are seeing issues in the south bay. flood advisory's have been issued for much of the south bay. we are seeing a lot of heavy rain in parts of the east and south bay this morning. i will zoom into the south bay, the flood advisory was issued about a half hour ago for the entire south bay. this is one of the areas that has seen a lot of rain for a long time. a lot of standing water on area roadways, we are also watching smaller streams and creeks. they could overflow. we will have the flood advisory into it: 30 this morning. this is a level to moderate storm until 9:00 a.m.. the biggest issues a lot of water on the roadway.

the rain out here in san francisco is not stopping polling places like the san francisco city hall from opening up in less than an hour at 7:00 to all voters this morning. for folks to drop off the ballots, vote in person, and you can still register to vote in person today, as well. nationwide voter turnout will be key to has control of the house and senate, that is why we saw governor newsom and vice president harris out on the campaign trail yesterday, giving a last-minute boost to democratic candidates as democrats risk losing control of congress. republicans are favored to win the house of representatives and a republican leaders have predicted a so-called red wave, similar to the blue wave in californian was president. we paid a visit to orange county, there are several tight congressional races that could tip the balance of the house. >> these guys are worthless. >> one does not have to abandon

kumasi: this morning, new details about the attack of house speaker nancy pelosi's husband, paul. she is opening up about how she first found out about the assault in their san francisco home, how they have been since then and how it is shaping their family. jobina: speaker pelosi sat down for a 25 minute interview with anderson cooper. she revealed she was asleep in her washington, d.c. apartment when capitol police woke her up and told her about a violent rake and in her home. not long after, she was on a flight back to san francisco. court document alleged the suspected attacker yelled there is nancy? where is nancy? that is the same thing protesters yelled at the u.s. capitol during the january 6 insurrection area -- insurrection. >> one of the hardest things was to go back into the house for him, of course the entrance with the attacker was. there has to be some message to

reggie: an issue at the dmv caused a headache for a walnut creek man. it was sorted out because 7 on your side got involved. he had an online receipt showing he paid and got the sticker in the mail for his annual car registration. so why did the dmv say it did not get the payment, then sent him a bill for a late fee and a bounced check? his bank did not have a record of a bounced fee or check being cashed. the local dmv office did not have an answer, that is when he contacted 7 on your side. the dmv agreed to refund the nearly $200 late charge. >> the next morning, 8:00, here comes the courier with the check. 7 on your side was the intermediary and did a great job at putting me in touch with the right person. reggie: the agency said it dmv representative research the issue and discovered an error in the payment process and immediately initiated the process for a refund. the dmv apologized for any
