forgotten people, a lifeline could soon becoming. on wednesday, a new effort to combat poverty amongst transgender residents. >> this is the first guaranteed income program. tim: it will give 55 people $1200 a month for 12 months. a partnership between local government, health services and the transgender district. actavis hope this is only the first step in helping a community in need. trans people suffer disproportionately with things like poverty, discrimination and abuse. >> the survey that is the only large-scale study of trans people found that 33% the trans people in california were living in poverty. tim: in order to qualify individuals must be making no more than $600 a month.

the number of south korean visitors have more than doubled between september 21 and september 22. visitors has jumped to nearly 10,000 in the same timeframe. president and ceo of travel. >> 63% of travel was by international visitors. the international market is incredibly important from san francisco. susan: according to sf travel, this accounts for 1/10 of all money spent by international visitors. china still has left -- still has yet to lift their covid travel restrictions. before the pandemic, sf saw as many as five times the visitors. our hotels, cannot wait. >> we are excited and encouraged
