san francisco, nice and sunny but actually start in sonoma county. upper 40's but breezy by the delta. 51 and a conquered come all due to those winds on the upper elevations keeping things mixed. we get into calm winds later today and that will bring a colder morning into sunday. hi today coming to the 60's by noon -- highs today coming into the 60's minute. we will talk about how that impacts the rest of the weekend and a look at thanksgiving and beyond in a few minutes. liz: we begin with the election, it is 11 days since the election day and the mayor race for oakland is still too close to call. zhang tao has been closing the gap and has taken the lead for the first time. it is just by the slimmest of margins, just under 700 ranked chose -- right choice votes.

it is the ranked choice system that will determine the new mayor. 'tao's team sent as a statement saying "we have been humbled to see the results a shift in our favor with the latest results, we have taken the lead with few to count -- few votes left to count. we are confident in the lead will hold." in the race of district attorney, pamela price is declaring a win over terry wiley. terry wiley conceded last night and congratulated pamela price in a statement. this race is making history with price is the first black alameda county d.a.. she released a statement saying "the key numbers are part of our victory. we knew this would be an! in history for alameda county." new developments in the developing of santa clara county sheriff.

bob johnson's lead is nearly 6900 votes over kevin jensen. this reflects 95 percent of returned ballots. in a statement obtained by mercury news, johnson says "i'm humbled and grateful for voters and their support. i am proud of the campaign as we stay focused on the most pressing issue -- most precious -- most pressing issues. i am ready to step up and lead the department." jensen has not hit conceded the race. he says no matter the outcome, i will be fighting for the agency and community against a lack of transparency and mismanagement like i have been the past 12 years. ." elizabeth holmes has been sentenced to more than 11 years in prison for defrauding investors in her company. it was despite more than 130 personal letters in support of homes. -- in support of elizabeth

oakland school shooting has died. it has been 12 weeks since the shooting. david was a carpenter for oakland unified school district. he had been hospitalized. he died thursday. students and staff are member david as a valuable employee. he installed the school's ps system which played a major role in safety the day of the shooting. >> he was a very friendly, kind, respectful, gentle human being who just lent a hand. liz: david told a coworker he was looking forward to retiring one day. the shooting is still under investigation. a coroner's office in contra costa county has released entities of people involved in a runway crash in pittsburgh. this is the scene of that crash thursday morning. the victims were 27-year-old tro tucker, collider johnson, and --

liz: san francisco is set to host world leaders for asia's corporation summit. vice-president kamala harris made the announcement yesterday. she said there is no better place to host than in california. more than 20 countries take part in the event. kaiser and the california nurses association avoided a strike planned for monday. the deal includes a wage increase of 22.5% over four

sfpd received six calls in a three hour period november 11 a living them to the same getaway vehicle. year to date through september, auto burglaries are up 12% in san francisco. for other crimes, the abc7news crime and safety tracker shows other burglaries are down in the past 12 months compared to the average for the past 12 years. the tool also allows users to track other crimes such as assaults, homicide, theft, and broken down by neighborhood. users can look up the murder rate in oakland and see it is up by 21 incidents in the past 12 months. in san jose, that number is down. trigger goes one step beyond in contextualizing what that means for you. a 3.1 homicide rate per 100,000 people is a lower risk than that of dying in a vehicle crash.
