jobina: inflation hitting a high, food insecurity is getting worse across the bay area. the i team has discovered 600 neighborhoods across the area that have low acts best of, also known as a food desert. stephanie sierra shows us the most vulnerable counties in the people impacted. stephanie: this thanksgiving, carmen has a choice. pay rent for put food on the table. >> we sent them out for groceries but the prices are too high. stephanie: she shares a studio in the soma district. 80% of her social stipend goes to rent. >> the rest is for food and medicine. how can you survive? >> throw inflation into the mix and she has another choice.
