assassination a moment to remeerty and its allies gathering in the castro district sunday night marking 44 years since the assassination of san francisco supervisor harvey milk and mayor george masconi both were shot by supervisor ron white at city hall on november 27th. 1978 was like chaos people running around. i mean even the the guards didn't realize that there had been two murders carol ruth silver is a former san francisco supervisor. she served alongside milk and she too was a target narrowly escaping the same fate. i was at a breakfast and i had agreed to an extra half a cup of coffee just so somebody could tell me something else and yes, it was. it was really an amazing escape.

thanksgiving holiday. we've just checked with the bay area's four major airports. there are no significant problems to report. taking the live look outside now from our sutro tower camera. overlooking beautiful san francisco a clear night out there, but we have big changes on the way tonight and later this week. let's get right to spencer christian with a peek ahead. okay, jr. the best way for me to illustrate to you what's going on with the this cold snap coming our way is to give you a look at our future radar image and you can see we've got a series of cold fronts dropping down towards the bay area from the gulf of alaska and you can tell that air is cold by all the snowtown north now the first cold front is going to swing through tomorrow. it's gonna break up. it's not going to produce any rainfall here, but it will reinforce the progression of cold air into the bay area. so for monday morning overnight monday night into tuesday morning look for low temperatures to drop down into the upper 20s, and some of our coldest inland locations that cold air will be reinforced on

tonight after a water rescue in marin county's tamales bay this weekend. hence moments right there the marin county fire department requested the sonoma county sheriff's helicopter to help pull those kayakers to safety yesterday a bystander sends. the four kayakers were being swept out to sea in rough surf in a remote part of thomas bay. adults and two children were rescued and flown to safety in the lawson's landing area. the city of san jose is getting an economic boost from the world cup soccer fans have been turning out in droves for world cup watch parties events organized by the san jose earthquakes local businesses and the downtown association have brought businesses to san pedro square in a way. the city hasn't seen since before the pandemic one business owner says, he's seen sales quadruple since the start of the
