on abc. fiery crash in central florida as an suv slammed into this fireworks store, igniting the fire. the driver was killed . police say the s u b and another vehicle collided, sending the suv careening into the store. no one else was hurt . months after a connecticut man was left paralyzed in police custody. five officers have now been arrested and charged a bcs lionel moise reports the incident was caught on camera. with that video is disturbing. this morning. five new haven, connecticut police officers have been charged for their involvement in this incident back in june that left 36 year old randy cox paralyzed video shows cox handcuffed and not belted, flying headfirst into the back of a police transport van when that driver suddenly stopped. oh hope, despite

pleading for help. cox did not get immediate medical attention . instead he was dragged out, processed in a wheelchair and placed into a holding cell. you cannot treat people the way mr cox was treated was left paralyzed from the chest down the new haven, state's attorney charging officers oscar diaz, jocelyn lavender here, ronald presley, luis rivera and sergeant betsy cg with two misdemeanors reckless and danger, mint and cruelty is knitted. to accountability for all individuals involved in this tragic incident, the new haven police unions saying, guilt, innocence, liability or culpability will be determined later for now, due process and protections it provides must be honored. the incident led to policy changes within the department, including an order clarifying that police cruisers should be the primary means of transport and requiring officers to see if a person needs medical attention when they are
