comes up in the next hour. a cold front moved through yesterday. the wind is still in the upper elevation. notice the 30's, mid 30's. it is freezing in clear lake but more 40's around the bay. already we are anywhere from three to 14 degrees colder than we were 24 hours ago. we keep the wind up for the short term and as they flatten out throughout the day it is going to be cool one. we will need the sun to warm up. tomorrow is expected to be the coldest start to the workweek. 30's and 40's through 7:00. mid to upper 50's through noon time but we don't go much further than that. looking at lighter wind today. a colder night tonight and overnight we are tracking the storm coming in thursday. maybe a couple inches of rain locally. kumasi: temperatures are tumbling in some parts of the

one positive if you are shopping for your holiday gives, this will not impact those because those were shipped to stores months ago. kumasi: today the california energy commission holds a meeting to discuss what can be done about high gas prices. this is coming nearly two months after the division demanded an answer from the oil refineries. that hearing is expected to be informative, no formal action is expected. the commission says no major oil companies will be participating today. according to aaa the state average gas price this morning is five dollars for sent. -- is $5.04. reggie: opd reports crime and shootings have declined. more officers will be reassigned to investigations involving gun violence. the chief reinstated a traffic enforcement unit. the chief says during the holidays more officers are placed in popular shopping areas.

recent closure of a cvs store in san jose is having a big impact on the community. people living along the alameda are no longer within walking distance of the neighborhood drugstore. it comes as both cvs and walgreens cut down the number of physical stores. some people believe there is more to that story. >> permanently out of business and all boarded up along the alameda in san jose, the neighborhood cvs is no more. >> i used to be able to walk here but now i have to drive to the cvs in lincoln avenue. >> long>> time resident bill moore says he visited the cvs with easy access to prescription pickup. while we await a response from cvs, they say in part, we understand the closure on alameda is a part of a companywide initiative and was chosen for closure because it

staying prepared for the world's largest volcano. taking a live look outside. it is a cold one. what to expect as you step out the door and what local nonprofits are doing to keep the un-housed warmer. kumasi: good morning everyone. it is tuesday, november 29. reggie: reggie: we are going to get a start with the weather. lisa: it is chilly. upper-level wind keeping some of us closer in the 40's. we continue to see these numbers come down our inland valleys. below freezing with fog in napa. 35, livermore. fremont in the upper 30's. compared to yesterday certainly a jump from three to 13 degrees colder. wind allowing for just enough mixing.

force. it would allow deadly force only when public and law enforcement lives are in imminent danger. the board is addressing this issue because of a new state law requiring allman's the polities to list and define authorized uses of military equipment operated by their local law enforcement agencies. this proposal is being met with opposition, including from the aclu and some robotics companies. they signed an open letter last month saying robots should not be weaponized. reggie: new effort to stop cyber bullying focused on getting school leaders to do more. students at the school were hit especially hard last year when a burn book circulated. that is a format for others to say cruel things about others appearance and background. they try to take the page down multiple times but new ones kept popping up. >> working on legislation to hold social media companies

kumasi: former giant star barry bonds could be elected into the baseball hall of fame as soon as this weekend. at a 16 person committee will meet on sunday to determine if bonds will stick to cooperstown. he must receive 25% or more votes to be elected. bonds moved to the contemporary baseball ballot earlier this year after he failed to make hall on the writers ballot last year -- last january. reggie: the campbell post office offered a behind-the-scenes look at packages ready for delivery. this branch saw a 20% jump in the number of packages over a typical day. >> it brings us joy when we go
