robots in deadly force situations only in extremely rare cases against active violent individuals. dan: new tonight, huge battle over the fighting of the symbol of our life during the covid-19 pandemic, the neighborhood areas marked as slow streets. in san francisco, a fight is on over what they are going to be like going forward. j.r. stone is the newsroom with a meeting still happening right now. j.r.: in the last 30 minutes, the sf mta board voted to close the slow streets program, but there were loud voices on both sides and there was quite a bit of clarification about what slow streets actually means. the slow streets program has changed many neighborhood streets across the city. tuesday night, huge crowds took to the san francisco city hall, some wanting those streets opened to normal traffic at normal speeds. others pushing for continuation of the program, which started

ama: new developments everlasting debate on sideshows in the bay area. oakland is now the latest city to try legislation to stop it. tim johns looks at those for and against the idea and what the solution should be. tim: after no arrest was made following another sideshow on friday, many bay area residents are becoming frustrated over the persistent problem. one local city is looking to maximize pressure to bring that

them feel safe, is something i am incredibly passionate about. dan: sandy hook promise has trained 18 million american kids in antiviolence programs and they plan to train 25 million more. ama: jewel labs has reached a sector -- juul labs ha a settlement. it covers lawsuits covering 10,000 plaintiffs including school district and native american tribes. many of the complaints surrounded around how juul was marketed to teenagers. the company said in a statement its mission is to still transition adult smokers away from combustible cigarettes while combating underage use. dan: a san jose nonprofit is making sure hard-working families are not forgotten this holiday season. the farmworker caravan is putting out a call to help give stopped stuffings into the hands of thousands of kids. amanda del castillo highlights

give out. >> even though we are seeing that many stockings, that is a minuscule amount of what we are doing in our local area. amanda: she credits the groups and individuals that come together to make this happen. the effort puts things back into the hands of children of farmworkers across the bay. reasons why donation drop-off locations spend the region from monterey to san mateo counties. >> this stocking means everything to them, and their faces and the smiles that we bring to them, it warms my heart. amanda: what many might see as a simple stocking, something cherished by children who may otherwise not receive much. and for darlene, a appreciation for the farmworkers who provide not only for their own families, but for everyone. >>
