>> building a better bay area, moving forward, finding solutions, this is abc7 news. >> bring it on. tonight, more rain is here and more is on the way. the bay area is gearing up for a good soaking this weekend. good evening. i'm dan ashley. >> and i'm ama daetz. live doppler spread across the area show you those drop les falling in some places and there's more to come. dan: let's go to spencer christian. spencer: we are bringing it on. there's not much left of our current storm. you can see there's light rain and scattered showers down in the south bay. the system is winding down. still on the exclusive abc7 storm impact scale. this storm ranks win.

we expect more periods of light showers. under .10 of an inch of rain for most areas. this will be a slippery morning commute as the pavement will be wet. you can see it will be winding down before the morning commute gets underway. but once again, it will leave wet pavement behind. moving along, the next storm will come on saturday this. will be a much stronger storm bringing moderate to heavy rainfall. localized flooding is possible. and it's going to be a huge snow maker in the sierra. i'll give you all those details later on. dan and ama. ama: residents are taking precautions including clearing leaves. fire crews are warning residents to be extra vigilant. >> it becomes whether or not the rain fall rates get to the point to where it creates or could create land movement such as

dr. angela bymast sera physician and a close friend of marcelo. marcelo spent months planning the days long oax celebration and was killed on the eighth night of the celebration less than 24 later, marcelo's loved oned were continued to continue her work even if it meant getting out there for the final night of prayer. >> the daughter spoke up and said she would want us to walk. you know, there's this courage that maria had -- if something bad happens you don't run from it. >> only this time with san jose police escort. it marks the 61st traffic death this year bymaster wants marcelo to be remembered for who she was and her many contributions. >> i always tell people she's the caesar chavez of our community. anything that happened in this

of the immediate bay area is experiencing no actual measurable rainfall at all but it has moved to the watsonville, salinas area. we've got 50 at oakland. 49 palo alto. 53 san jose. santa clara, 51. the rain has stopped following. 44 at santa rosa. 50 at napa. upper 40's in fairfield and concord. once again, the rain has stopped falling here. these are the forecast headline. stronger storm comes in on saturday. heavier rain, gusty wind and winter storm warning will be in effect. here's what's left of our current storm. the morning commute gets underway. a little patch of clear. chillier in the north bay, a lot chillier where the skys will be clearer. skies tomorrow generally mid

50's. let's talk about the next storm. it will rank level two on the exclusive level two impact scale coming in on saturday and into sunday bringing moderate to heavy rainfall. 45 miles per hour. localized flooding is possible from this storm. notice on saturday we're going to get blasted with continuous moderate to heavy rain, heavy snow over in the sierra. strong gusty wind as i mentioned 45 miles per hour. rainfall totals over the weekend alone will range from one to two inches of rain or more across the bay area. meanwhile in the sierra, winter storm working from 4:00 a.m. saturday to 4:00 a.m. monday. we're expecting two to four feet of snow possibly up to 50. snow levels down to 4,000 feet. travel to into or out of the sierra not recommended. ly be virtually impossible. after that level two storm on saturday with the wind and the rain we get scattered showers on monday.
