i am dion lim. a powerful storm that brought wind and rain to the area and is bringing us even more wet weather tonight. we do have live team coverage for you. we begin with spencer and a look at how much more rain we got today. >> we have about a half-inch more of rain on top of the 2 inches. here is a look at what is happening live doppler 7. we have quiet active weather. we have something moving onshore. mainly light to moderate rainfall. on the sonoma county it is beyond the coast now. we have a large blanket of steady rain. mainly light to moderate. we have a light to moderate storm as we look at the storm impact scale. we can expect scatter occasional downpours and possibly some isolated thunderstorms. you can see the rain just d

not move until sometime after midnight when it begins to push southward and wind down. it should be over once the morning commute begins. i will have the accuweather 7-day forecast in a few minutes. >> yesterday's storm may have played a role in a rockslide in the area of lombard and montgomery in san francisco's telegraph hill. neighbors say large chunks of rock fell from a house at around 10:00 last night, crashing onto the street below. there have been no reports of injuries. that is the good news but the falling rocks blocked access until city crews were able to clear that area today. cornell bar coverage now and joins us live in mill valley with more on the storm impact and, another soggy soaker here. >> definitely a serious drenching from the storm this weekend. we saw more rain, more toppled trees and lots of snow to tahoe.

because it was just a dull thud. the house shook a little bit. >> that wake-up call came early sunday morning when this giant oak tree fell onto elinor avenue . >> it is a very old tree. it was probably 80 feet tall. it had a huge canopy. >> this is my wife's car. >> the tree came down on top of this suv belonging to zach phillips's wife. damage estimates are unclear. >> there is a lot of weight pinning it down. it looks like the tree came down kind of slow and gently rested on it so fingers crossed that there is not too much damage. >> the national park service has lots of trees toppled, blocking some hiking trails. the weekend storm was intent. bringing lots of rain to the bay area. rain was back again on sunday afternoon. some streets were still flooded. up in this era, the snow was
