dan: the scandal that rocked tech and financial world. sam bankman-fried facing charges for the collapse of a crip no currency giant, taking the money of 30's and everyday citizens down with it. today his bay area ties. thank you for joining us. i am dan ashley. the united states has indicted the former ceo of ftx on eight counts of fraud. sam bankman-fried was arrested in the bahamas yesterday. he is now waiting to be brought back to the u.s. for trial. amanda del castillo has new details on the collapse of ftx and bankman-fried's bay area ties. amanda: a bay area native slapped with an eight count indictment tuesday for charges of fraud and conspiracy. ftx founder sam bankman-fried face up to 115 years in prison

11 californians have an extra special status tonight. they are now part of the 15th class of the california hall of fame. whether it is their contributions to the sciences, sports, or culture, tim johns was in sacramento with the honors. >> it is my honor to introduce real-life astronaut and role model to so many, the courageous barbara morgan.
