kids. two previous trips had to be canceled. >> i was at work and shaking and crying. mostly because i did not want another disappointment for these kids. >> that is when this parent reached out to abc seven. gary bauer of barrow transportation had a personal reason to give back. >> we actually were born and raised in nevada. >>'s company h operation for more than 30 years but never offered school bus service. when routes across the bay area were cut during the pandemic and it started affecting kids, they added to the fleet. >> it is a tough market there in. >> as for students, they have been through so much already. it is the little things that matter.

department. this kidnapper was seen on home surveillance with the baby carrier walking in and out of the apartment. that image and that story went national. there was a frantic search. it was really beautiful to see the community come together and sharing the news of those images and of the search for baby brandon. day. a little bit older now. such a sweet baby. his kidnappers pled guilty. there with that story and even some sidebars that came as a result of that story than me for some shocking headlines in the south bay. right now we will show you one of those earlier stories. it is the best one. the news that baby brandon was found. >> just after 1:00 on monday when they brandon was reported missing.

his grandmother telling police the baby was taken from the san jose department by a man seen walking with the baby carriage. three suspects are in custody in large part thanks to the employee of a nursing home was facility is just across the street. character. >> she saw this then, nissan class. california highway patrol tweeted out a picture description and the suite was later deleted with san jose pd saying they could not confirm the csp information. it is unclear why they have the information but the tweet was up long enough for that information to come out. her boss, chris martinez there just after she called

police. >> she saw this vehicle and she was a mom as well. of the vehicle, both the front and the back. at invaded the home. emotion outside of her home. she says that they have the boy right there all the time and did not even know it. at least five officers with vests were seen carrying evidence from that home. police did not elaborate on why they were there. they say the three suspects include the -- the initial investigation shows

a link between the family and the suspects. i am dusti reporter in the south bay. i love to cover sports and thankfully our area teams have given us plenty to talk about this past year. for my most memorable story of 2022, i have to go with the 49ers memory keeper. a story within the story about the team photographer. it is his job to capture history as it happens like we saw during this year's playoff run. the 49ers faithful can remember it forever. as the 49ers have battled into the nfc championship game, iconic moments are captured each week that will live on in team history. moments captured by the 49ers photography team and their lead photographer, a man known around the organization as the lord, the man behind the lens. >> i used to cut pictures out and make my own 49er books. i never thought i would be a photographer but i was at a lover photos.

i don't take it for granted. >> lloyd has been part of the organization for 25 years and witnessed some of the greatest wind of the biggest games. he says he took a lot more to create the perfect shot that fans remember forever including some of the best postgame celebrations. >> it is about capturing the essence of the game. is just so surreal. >> lloyd has photographed countless playoff games, four energy title matches and two super bowl appearances for the red and gold. from his point of view, he remains faithful the team may be on a super run. >> you have to start to believe. my mindset is i always take a positive attitude about everything. even from my photos and the team, if you stay positive, good things are going to happen.

her mother's account seems to have been hacked. lisa has been helping with the fallout. >> she calls bank of america. it was for transactions on the same day that totaled $3500. quite probably affect them. the back put a hold on the checking account and investigated. lisa and her mom were and then they heard back from b of a. clark they were not going to refund your money. they could not prove it was not my mother who facilitated transactions. click lisa contacted me and that is why the three of us are talking and i had to ask this question. >> did you make those transactions? >> no.

i am hoping to do some other virtual-reality experiences that i have had a chance to experience this one. it is called space explorer's, the infinite's, check out the story. >> this is a journey into outer space. virtual reality technology makes you feel like you are actually there. eric albert is the co-ceo of infinity experiences inc., putting on the space explorer's, to exhibit. he says this has been in the making for nearly seven years with them sending cameras to the international space station. >> we have been capturing this amazing virtual-reality content both inside and outside of the international space station. we get these amazing views of the shots that were done outside the space station. >> i had to try for myself. i put on a headset, got a briefing and it is like i am in space.

>> i am told there are people around me but when i put on the headset, i just feel like i am inside the international space station. like it is only me here. >> the best part for me is the spacewalk with two astronauts. >> in my head, i can see astronauts in front of me and when i looked down, i can see the entire planet, it is really incredible. >> that is when you get a glimpse of what the overview effect is like, when you see earth from space. albert says this is as close to it as most of us will experience without actually go into space. >> it is this feeling of transcendence. almost spiritual. there are no borders, no passports. we are all basically living on the small little blue dot in the middle of infinity. that is the name of the exhibition. it really makes you realize how fragile the earth is. >> it is unbelievable.

lentil and leek crumbles. hundreds of people were second and some even had their gallbladders removed after getting the product. this is the story. >> this is one of the harvest bows. >> carol was loyal daily harvest customer. she had abdominal and shoulder pain and ultimately landed her in the er. >> it was pretty sharp right away. >> she had a ct scan and give a urine sample but doctors could not find anything. she went home and after a week of eating bland foods, she ate the daily harvest crumbles a second time. >> it was a cute and sharp and that it became unbearable. cracks in the er again, doctors found high levels of liver enzymes and dysfunction in her gallbladder. >> pressure that was not letting the fluids go through. cracks are primary care doctor recommended she have her

gallbladder removed. daily recalled all french lentil and leak crumbles. the company said it received approximately 470 reports of illness or adverse reactions. >> just horrible pain in my midsection. >> all of my liver enzymes were elevated. >> i ended up in the er for a day. >> all of it a mystery to doctors. >> probably the worst three weeks of experience i had ever had. >> he filed a lawsuit on your behalf sunday. >> the one thing about foodborne illness cases is that a lot of times, you never get to having a product that tests positive. people eat evidence. >> daily harvest said it does not comment on pending or potential litigation. in his latest statement, the company ceo says they have spent

the past 10 days working to get to the root cause. with how daily harvest initially handled consumer complaints, writing in any amount to customers on june 17, a small number of customers have reported gastrointestinal discomfort. >> i did not connect the dots because the term gastrointestinal is so general. where people just getting gas from this? >> lentils must be for -- to really cook. >> they were trying to pass this off as ignorant or incompetent on the part of the consumer rather than saying we might have a problem. >> and advised customers to dispose of the product. >> if we were sick, i would think they would want a sample of the product to be sent to the fda. cracked the daily harvest ceo writes the company is confident the issue is limited to the french lentil and leak crumbles.
