it has forced several airlines to cancel flights today. it looks like this. lena howland with more if you are heading out of sfo. lena: good morning. we told you to expect these delays and cancellations. unfortunately, that is exactly what we are seeing. this is kind of a perfect storm hitting today, one of the busiest air travel days of the year right before christmas. this morning, more than 1200 flights have been canceled leaving travelers scrambling. tomorrow, more than 700 flights have been canceled hitting chicago, new york, and detroit the hardest. one of the biggest issues is the wind. that is what the faa is concerned about as these affected airports. >> it is cold but when it is -20, it is another level. >> it is something we knew would be outside of the norm and we have been taking steps, going
