♪ good evening. thank you for joining us. a once in a century storm and the death toll climbs to 31. a stormy weekend being blamed for a massive travel disaster, stranding and frustrating tens of thousands of passengers. while most airlines were able to regroup within days, southwest airlines passengers are still suffering, trying to reach their destinations. >> we're on the plane for about three hours before they deplaned us and canceled our flight. then our next available flight

is december 30th. >> it's a shocking and unacceptable level of disruption, combined with passengers being unable to get anybody on the phone to help them. >> at the center of the travel nightmare, southwest airlines canceling more than 2,500 flights today on top of the thousands canceled yesterday and over the weekend. passengers forced to sleep at airports, luggage scattered from city to city. >> christmas was ruined, worst christmas ever. >> i spoke with transportation secretary pete buttigieg. mr. secretary, could southwest face consequences for failing its customers beyond what you've laid out? -- we're taking a look at all of that right now. there are a number of responsibilities they have, and things that we can enforce in terms of the way that they treat their customers and how their operations roll out. >> we're doing everything we can to return to a normal operation. and please also hear that i'm truly sorry. our plan for the next few days is to fly a reduced schedule and

brazilian butt lift surgery, bbl. seeing women line up in wheelchairs returning home from getting cheap, out of state, even out of country procedures, common at certain airports. and the biggest marketing tool of all, social media. but the reality is, for all their popularity, procedures like bbl and injection also run the risk of severe complications and even permanent disfigurement. >> it's an epidemic that's actually getting worse as social media's becoming more popular. ♪ >> reporter: even cardi b, coming clean to glad tv about getting injectins in a basement before making it big. >> i was desperate to have a bigger ass. then almost every girl was going to this lady that was getting the the shots. in queens. it's like, give me her number, hook me up. i did what i did.

mother-daughter injecting team, libya dome and alicia gomas. >> i reached out and talked to them, she had done her own daughter are i completely trusted her. i was told it was a form of injection that would dissolve in a few years. i researched the product that she said it was, and it all seemed fine. >> reporter: so in 2017, taryn traveled to a swanky las vegas hotel for her shots. and outside the room, she joined a long line of women awaiting their turn. >> i went ahead and did it. and i loved it at first. everything was amazing. and then all of a sudden, i developed a rash. and it was just on my butt cheeks, so i knew it was the injections. i knew something was wrong. >> reporter: though taryn says she saw multiple specialists, she says she still doesn't know what was injected into her body.

dr. tan sarmir, a new york-based plastic surgeon who does silicone removals but hasn't seen taryn, says any injected substance is problematic. >> whatever it is, it's not sterile, it's not processed, it doesn't belong in your body. >> reporter: the fda doesn't approve any foreign substance being injected into the buttocks or used for body contouring, only your own fat. and they warn that injectable silicone can cause serious injury or even death. >> the problems that people tend to have are autoimmune problems. they feel tired, they get back pain, burning, itching in their butt, their legs feel heavy and numb, they have difficulty walking. sometimes it's three weeks from the time of injection, sometimes it's 30 years later. >> i could end up on dialysis in ten years. the product could migrate into different parts of my body. >> reporter: that same duo was

eventually charged with the murder of charissa raj paul, who died after allegedly getting injections from adame and glaas in 2019. she posted one of her procedures on social media. wearing ankle monitoring, the mother and daughter recently appeared in court for the first time where they were photographed by dailymail.com. both pled not guilty to murder and practicing medicine without certification.pwe reached out t lawyer for comment multiple times and have yet to hear back. alicia glaas' lawyer saying as much as the client would love to sit down and share her side of the story, now is not the appropriate time, given the pending criminal action. miss glaas vigorously denies and disputes the charges against her and looks forward to her day in court. for taryn, with the possibility
