where a landscape supply store says it has been filling bags by the hundreds the past few days flood stage is 32 feet. the river is expected to reach that by sunday a business owners are very aware of past floods and are showing up to shoring up what they can hoping to avoid getting swamped. the water here comes from behind. so it doesn't come from the river forward. you can swim all the creeks behind us. so the water comes from behind the building. so we got to seal up all the doors in the back too, which we didn't do last time. sonoma county is where one of the two deaths from this latest storm occurred a two-year-old was killed yesterday when a tree fell on his home in occidental. all right. now, let's move our attention to the east bay a group of neighbors at an oakland apartment complex is fighting for answers. they're still living at an off-site hotel after their complex flooded five days ago. it's caused many headaches and stresses over when it'll be safe to return home abc 7 news reporter jr. stone caught up with some of them tonight to tell their story. i want to be home in.

i just want to be at home feel comfortable the tears of an 11 year old represented east oakland community looking for answers serenity mendez. abadano and his family were displaced after their east oakland apartment complex coliseum connections flooded causing it to lose power saturday five days later and there is still no electricity families have been put up at a nearby hotel. i want to be a homework. i can do whatever i want to read me on my phone. and be a kid thursday night a meeting was held among displaced families who say they want answers. mostly. i'm frustrated. i'm frustrated. i can't even wash clothes. i have i have a bucket of my dirty clothes in the back of my car. fbi management runs the complex in a statement. they say they have paid for resident accommodations that the

hotel and say they're working with vendors to get the water pumped out of the garage and restore power to the building in that statement though. there is no time table on when residents may be able to go back home and more rain is expected in the next week oakland police commissioner regina jackson. was that thursday's meeting and says residents have a right to be upset. i'm horrified. it. sounds like blatant disregard for citizens who are in deep east oakland and don't have resources. it sounds that there was a significant delay and the property manager even responding to people all we haven't been told whether or not we're going back how long we're gonna stay here or anything some though are optimistic saying after thursday's meeting they feel that management and city officials are taking the matter. seriously a home is doesn't have any power our home. it doesn't have any running water. it's it's dark and we want answers and we're starting to
