leaders of both mexico and canada, andrew justin, thank you. evacuation orders have been issued near sacramento, california as another storm takes aim at the west coast. another six inches of rain could fall, triggering more flooding. the governor has requested a federal disaster declaration. the recent storms have claimed at least 12 lives. we're gonna take a closer look at today's forecast in just a few moments. officials in newport news virginia are staying tight lipped about the six year old boy accused of shooting his teacher friday. the first grade teacher is in serious but stable condition. police have not revealed the names of the suspect or the teacher and the mayor. told cnn. it's unclear how the six year old suspect got a gun. i do know that right now , because it remains an investigation. we're gonna let itself sort of workout before we rush to judgment at this time, but i can tell you that the individuals responsible will be held accountable. i can promise that virginia's teachers union is now asking for more school security measures. students are

returning to the university of idaho campus for the first time since an arrest was made in the murder of therefore classmates, but several questions remain, including why it took so long for the roommates who survived the attack to call police. the lawyer for one of the roommates says the survivors are also victims. this morning as university of idaho students returned to campus and prepare for classes to begin later this week. i breathe a sigh of relief. i'm pretty sure that my mom did the same thing. students and parents alike say they feel a sense of security now that police have a suspect in custody for november's killing of four students at this off campus house. there is security, a lot of places so i felt comfortable. just walking around here. students unpacked personal belongings. schools also promising new security measures , including more officers on campus and increased police patrols in neighborhoods near the university. less than 30 minutes away, washington state university students are remembering the classmate now under arrest for the brutal

murders, telling the idaho statesman newspaper that the criminology students often spoke up during classroom discussions of murder investigations. but when the topic of the idaho slings arose, one student recalling he was completely silent and affidavit laying out. details of the crime scene reveals the suspect, 28 year old brian co. burger was on investigators radar as early as november, 29th 16 days after the students were brutally stabbed to death, according to the affidavit. one of the surviving roommates was awake at the time of the murders, telling police the killer came within feet of her bedroom door as he exited the house, but police say no one called 911 for another eight hours, investigators say. two survivors are not suspected of any wrongdoing, and there's still no word on a motive co. burger has pleaded not guilty in his due back in court thursday. one student returning to campus said even with an arrest, he'll be staying in groups to prioritize. safety city is bracing for thousands of nurses to go on strike. they're

disappearance. investigators also impounded. brian walsh is suv only saying additional facts may or may not be entered into the record when he faces a judge this morning. police say a family member last saw ana walsh in her cohasset home in the early morning hours of january. 1st he reportedly planned to take a ride share vehicle to the airport for a flight to washington, dc for work, but police say she never boarded any flight and they cannot confirm she ever took the ride share. the cell phone has been off since around the first of the year and again, that's that's one of the investigative leads that were tracking down before brian walsh is arrest investigators searched the family's home this weekend, looking in a shed, even draining the backyard pool, clearing debris in their search for clues . but this morning, no sign of honor. do you think there's an ending to this story? i hope there's enough media interest. subscription based to allow people to kind of dig into it.
