family but have not heard back. j.r. stone abc7news. >> san francisco mayor london breed is open to nonprofits setting up a safe injection site according to the chronicle. this has been a thorny issue in the report adds the supervised site would not receive support from the city. this comes as san francisco's health department released numbers today on overdosed deaths. there were 620 last year which is down by 20 from the year before. this is the second straight year the city reported a decline in overdosed deaths. all-time high was 2020 with 725. good safe injection sites save lives? that is the focus of the new documentary called injecting hope. our reporter traveled to vancouver canada to see things as they are there, no filter. to see how they are handling the situation with north america's

fast-moving cold front will produce mainly light rain with brief downpours. here is the animation starting at 11:30. notice how quickly it sweeps southward and eastward and out of the bay area by about 3:00 a.m.. we will actually have partial clearing going on for the morning commute. we are not expecting much in the way of rainfall totals for the store. it just about ended here. in the south bay it is raining in san jose at the moment but the rainfall estimate there is very low. looking back at a portion of san francisco, where it is 49 degrees. other locations are in the low -- at the golden gate bridge it is still raining very lightly. the pavement is wet but the heavier steady art rain has ended for this location. 43 degrees in santa rosa.

here is the view and san this stretch of highway 101 where it is clearly quite wet. brief periods of rain befor t moing cmute and we can expect dry, sunny weather for the next evan days. coastal flood advisory goes into effect having nothing to do with the ring tonight. it is about the king tides that we mentioned earlier. the highest astronomical tides of the year may produce minor coastal flooding in low-lying areas. highs tomorrow generally in the low to mid 50's under sunny skies. here is the accuweather 7-day forecast. we have seven consecutive days of sunny skies coming our way beginning tomorrow. a nice stretch of dry weather and we certainly need it after the catastrophic rains we had here. >> thank you
