they'll be sending advanced battle tanks of the war zone to help the ukrainians back in tis country. federal agents have announced a major fraud bust in the healthcare industry. the target wasn't phony medical bills or procedures. instead it was the nurses who turned out to be frauds. this morning. authorities arewarning healthcare facilities nationwide after uncovering a scheme that sold thousands of fake diplomas to people working as nurses. when we talk about the nurses, education and credentials shortcut is not a word. we want to use the operation. dubbed operation nightingale uncovered three nursing schools based in south florida, which investigators say sold more than 7600 fraudulent diplomas for about $15,000 apiece. we're looking around at $114 million paid for these documents, the local district attorney says. in some cases, students would use the fake diplomas to obtain nursing jobs in other states without proper training. when we entrust the life of an elderly parent to the staff of an

assisted living or skilled nurse facility. the last thing we want to learn is that the nurses administering the medications the ones charged with carrying out doctor's order. shortcuts on their clinical training. authorities charged 25 people in the scheme across multiple states, including florida, new york, new jersey, texas and delaware. agents say they have identified several facilities where people may currently be working as licensed nurses after obtaining their jobs illegally. investigators are now working with licensing boards in each state to make sure anyone who got a fraudulent diploma no longer provides care to date. we have not learned of, nor uncovered any evidence of patient harm stemming from these individuals, potentially providing services to patients, 25 suspects, face fraud and conspiracy charges. three schools have been shut down. now to virginia and the new fallout from the shooting of a first grade teacher by her six year old student, the school superintendent is now out of a job after reports the school was

warned multiple times about the shooter. sometimes it's just time for new leadership overnight. newport's news is school superintendent out of a job after a six year old student shot first grade teacher abby's werner and one of his schools earlier this month in the middle of this storm is a six year old little boy. i don't know what was in his head. he took a gun to school, and he shot his teacher. the board, citing concerns over a string of recent campus shootings, and parents outraged over what they call a pattern of inaction, teachers in the school and admin and staff telling these stories, and nobody did anything about it. it's horrible outrage amplified by allegations made by his werner's lawyer. accusing the school of missing or ignoring several red flags. the day of the shooting three times. school administration was warned by concerned teachers and employees

that the boy had a gun on him at the school, according to her attorney after his warner first reported the boy was making threats. another teacher was tipped off about the boy having a gun, but a search of his backpack came up empty. the administrator downplayed the report from the teacher and the possibility of a gun saying, and i quote well, he has little pockets. werner also claims just minutes before the boy pulled the trigger. school officials refused to request to pat the armed student down, saying teachers should wait the situation out because the school day was almost over. warner is preparing to sue the school district asked for the superintendent who has been fired, now received two years of his $250,000 salary in monterey park, california last night, vice president kamala harris placed flowers at the memorial for the victims of saturday night's dancehall shooting. she called on lawmakers to do more to address gun violence. as for the investigation, police have revealed the suspect apparently
