reggie: the battle against the drug overdose crisis. save consumption sites could be a part of the solution, now they are returning to nonprofits to help them navigate legal issues. the supervisor says the city will pay for the majority of services. they will not pay to staff the room where a worker supervises people using drugs to make sure they do not overdose. it is still illegal under federal law to do so. the city is trying to nonprofits to take on that legal risk. one group says it will cost nearly one and a half million dollars a year to operate a single save consumption site. >> that will include having staff, equipment that we needed, also making sure we have emts on site. >> standing in between the
