explosion and fire that took down her neighbors home. she had so grateful she and her husband and six-year-old daughter were not home when the explosion rocked their neighborhood. she is still badly shaken. >> it is terrible. trie.cannot sleep. >> the fire department says the blast was so strong it could be heard 20 blocks away and two homes were knocked off their foundation. there are still awaiting for official confirmation from police peered four different neighbors identified this man as darren price. this is video of him thursday soon after he got word of the explosion. he is visibly upset. police say a disabled woman died in deadly explosion and fire. neighbors say that was his wife. the woman's caretaker was severely burnt. >> it is so terrible. her name is lily church she is from thailand. >> as for price police arrested

13% have attempted suicide. 15% say they have been forced to have sex. the cdc says that is a dramatic increase over the past decade and very concerning obviously. joining me to discuss this is our abc 7 news contributor. you are a pediatrician. these statistics are alarming. >> they really are. this is a very heartbreaking problem that has been looming over the course of many years. this specific survey was first administered in 2011 every two years. these numbers have gone up since then. anyone who looks at this and says this is the pandemic. the pandemic may have worsened it this was a long-standing epidemic before that. we are the place where we as a nation have failed the mental health of our youth and this problem has exceeded the capacity of our ability within health to take care of it. we have to have a multifactorial approach to tackle this.

>> it is not just girls. violence among lgbtq+ youth on the rise. boys being affected to this is a problem affecting young people in significant ways. > it truly is. it is important for people to understand while the headlines out there are focusing on teen girls the numbers were higher, among those who identified as part of the lgbtq community. there were still high in boys. just higher in girls. as we look at the issue and the core problem even the cdc today did not point the finger at one source. with the pandemic there were feelings of isolation. there is a lack of health care professionals. parapets, child psychiatrists to deal with this. some behavioral health specialists speculate the rise of social media has worsened all of this because issues like cyber bullying are now available. that is summing that happens to our teens on a rayleigh -- that

is something that happens to our teens on a daily basis. schools point for making sure they keep an eye mental health for adolescents. >> it does seem fair to say social media has played an increasing role on the unhappiness, stress and strain our teenagers are experiencing. >> i want to be honest. there are many positive potential aspects of social media kit is often a place where teens can engage with positive tools. but again we have to be very careful as a society pay the tech industry and as parents what risks there are for teens on these platforms. we just saw the surgeon general talk about how he does not feel 13-year-old should be allowed to go on social media even though that is the cutoff age. at that young age the developing brains are very susceptible to judgment which is everywhere on social media platforms. this is exactly why the product

james cameron he had found his rose. then he hired leonardo dicaprio to play jack. cameron who also wrote titanic looked at his movie as romeo and juliet on a ship. you remember the first time you sell it? >> i remember the first time i saw it was jim cameron's house in his editing room. jim really wanted to show me the film himself. that was a very special because i got to sit beside him and experience it for the first time and him keep turning to me to see how was i react and was i enjoying it and was i have, was i crying -- was i happy, was i crying? ♪ when the movie came there was a premiere in london i was sick and could not go. i was in hospital sick.
