ball erupted from the front of the home. in court today, price appeared distraught. you can hear him sniffing and sobbing at times. the deputy public defender explained that price is upset of losing the love of his life. he worked as a contract or flipping houses and met his wife a kitchen designer. they were married for eight years. he cared for rita's three children and became a around the clock care talker. the judge ruled that price could be released on restrictive house detention. >> there was not evidence that mr. price would be a substantial danger and would cause great bodily injury to someone if released. mr. price acted with negligence. they are not alleging that he acted with intentional harm or with an intent to do harm. >> the judge says the conditions

for price's release are strict. law enforcement can search price, his car, electronic devices and residents at any time deputys will monitor his home detention. he will be able to see and talk to his teenage kids but not agent league matters. the kids were not home during the explosion. >> we are very relieved that mre released. he will be physically out of custody. he can start participatingin the arrangement from his funeral and be connected with his children and support them at this time. >> and several san francisco firefighters attended today's proceedings. they did not want to comment. price will be back in court next friday. no word yet when he'll be released. larry: so how will supervised release work in this case given home detention, there's no home. the home got blown up. >> the conditions are very restrictive. price will be on full home detention. he's not allowed to leave the premises unless he has prior
