conscious when they arrived at the hospital, and they are expected to survive. no arrests were reported overnight. for the first time. the director of the fbi is speaking publicly about the claim that a lab leak in china could be to blame for the covid 19 pandemic. christopher raised comments came on the same day, a congressional committee met to discuss rising tensions with china and everything from taiwan to tiktok. a newly formed house committee dedicated to investigating potential threats from china held its highly anticipated first hearing last night. this is an existential struggle over what life will look like in the 21st century. the witnesses included matthew pottinger and h. r mcmaster, both experts on china who served in the trump administration. when asked if he believes china will invade taiwan in the next 2 to 3 years, mcmaster warned of a dangerous period ahead. there's a time when he's election in 2024. is not going to be good. i think from the view of she jinping. the hearing came just hours after fbi director christopher rice spoke about
