a level two storm that will produce significant rainfall and potentially localized flooding. >> thank you. the upcoming storms have people in the east bay worried about more damage coming their way. ryan spoke with victims of recent storms who are worried about the next round. >> this road has residents worried they could be trapped. the storms in early january damaged part of the road making it difficult for them to leave their homes. >> howe road suffered a landslide and we have about a dozen neighbors who used this road for access. >> he says the road is private. he came to the disaster relief center to see if fema can cover the cost. >> we are asking fema for help because it is going to be a six-figure amount of money to have the road repaired. >> they opened

driver onto the pavement. she died after being hit by a drunk driver. >> the victim who was struck on the bridge perhaps was thrown from the vehicle. we do have a strong suspicion that it was an intentional act. >> there on the bridge they were able to tell police he threw me out of the car, she led me -- later died at the hospital. brown will be resentenced in the coming weeks of the robbery and carjacking. his current 44 years could be reduced to the point that he gets out of prison in the coming weeks. >> he is extremely about his behavior. >> brown was a much different person 23 years ago wrapped up in drugs, reckless and thoughtless. >> he is actually grateful for the time in prison because it has given him time to reassess

he was arrested last week. investigators claim he was responsible for two separate explosions at power transformers. the home was sold march 2021. he lived in the home with three children and his wife. the wife told investigators that he liked chaos and made comments about attacking infrastructure. >> i know he kept quiet to himself. i guess we need to figure out who they are. you have to meet your neighbors. >> investigation detailed how the police were ultimately able to link the neighbor to two separate transformer explosions. they were able to use cell phone geo-fencing technology traced his path. the wife going out to dispose of an unsafe box.

our reporter tells us -- tensions were high. >> there was anger as students tried to process how to fellow classmates could have been stabbed at montgomery high school. ring today's assembly on campus, students said the 15-year-old suspect had been involved in other fights before at the school. students were joined by some parents. >> it took this for us to finally realize our school is suffering and we are screaming for help. we need their help. >> last wednesday they told police two students went inside and our classroom to can -- to confront a 15-year-old. today students accused the suspect of slashing tires of the car before the altercation. the second student was taken to the hospital. school officials were not available to respond to the claims. >> he did not deserve to die.

that thin ribbon of intense moisture aimed at california but with the next storm coming late in the week, it's going to tap into warm air. the snow level is going to be a lot higher meaning less areas are going to see snow and more potentially see heavy rain. we are watching significant sierra snowmelt is very possible late this week. we saw lots of heavy snow, but now warmer air about to move in later this week, it has the potential to melt a lot of that snow. combine that with heavy rain and the foothills, there is potential that we could see flooding on our larger rivers and also streams and creeks. we will take you to the snow forecast first. this is a warm storm, so we will not see as much snow as over the past weekend but 1-2 feet is possible from areas incline village to kirkwood. the big stories good to be heavy rain around the foothills.
