calls to unruly passengers. it has been a turbulent few weeks for air travel this morning. we have new examples. this morning new video of a terrifying midair attack diverting us wherever it is, it's gonna be a bloodbath, officials say a man on a united airlines flight from los angeles tried to open the emergency exit door, then started yelling from his seat 45 minutes before landing in boston taking over this plane. right now. . he then heads to the aisle holding a jagged metal spoon. he allegedly broken the bathroom. passengers wrestled him to the ground as the pilot declares an emergency. investigators say the man tried to stab a flight attendant. he was later arrested at the airport. all flight attendants are given a certain amount of training on self defense, but they should not be in their job description to have to have mortal combat with somebody in the back. that is totally unacceptable. also in

boston, authorities are investigating an unrelated incident. on a runway to united planes clipping wings while one plane was pushing back from the gate. numerous close calls elsewhere are now under investigation, including one last month in sarasota's florida just coming to light. officials say an air canada plane was cleared for takeoff just as an american airlines plane was cleared to land on the same runway 2017 to 21 70 to maintai 3000 planes were about 3100 ft apart when the american crew discontinued their landing. it appears similar to an incident at new york's jfk airport in january when the ntsb says an american airlines plane crossed an active runway without approval. coming within 1000 ft of a plane taking off on the same runway. some experts say these close calls or evidence the airline industry is struggling to keep up with post pandemic traffic. after at least
