wet. that takes us into weekend rainfall estimates anywhere from 2/10 of one inch to really one-inch. as you pointed out, more storms are on the way. i will give you a look at the atmospheric river in our accuweather 7-day forecast, coming up, j.r. j.r.: thank you. just as you talked about, abc 7 news reporter cornell barnard is live in mill valley this evening with the latest on conditions they are what it looks like. cornell? cornell: yeah, hey, j.r. here we go it has been another wet, windy day. first responders are watching the approaching system very carefully. they say it will likely bring mudslides and new flooding. more rain in marin saturday. roads were slick and windshield wipers got another workout. in mill valley, a crane was helping a big cleanup, where a

50 foot oak tree crashed into a home during the last storm. tree removal experts say they have been slammed with calls, and it is not over yet. >> there is one more atmospheric river coming monday and tuesday. cornell: what do you think that is going to come? >> more. cornell: more trees down? >> more trees down. cornell: in sonoma county, creeks and streams are running high. first responders are preparing for an additional three inches to seven inches of rain, and that is a concern for more flooding. there is nowhere for the water to go. >> the roads are very saturated. our rivers and streams are running full now, and with more rain, we are just expecting to have more of that localized flooding in our low-lying area highway 84 closed in both directions to skyline boulevard every landslide because this giant crack in t rdetours . in santa cruz county, crews have managed to fix and reopen one

lane of main, restoring access to 450 homes. presidents were cut off -- residents were caught off when swollen creeks washed away part of the road. rain did not stop tj mcguire from taking her dog for a walk. >> we have been drenched, and poor him, i had to give him a bath to dry him off. cornell: no rain delay here. these players from san softball league were determined to get a practice in. >> our season opens on satu and we want to be out here playing. so kids are having fun. cornell: braving the elements. we love to see it. first responders are asking folks to prepare for the next storm and the possibility of power outages. they say charge your cell phone

and your electric vehicle or fill your car up with gas, and never drive through flooded areas. more rain is on the way. we are live in mill valley, cornell barnard, abc 7 news. j.r.: cornell, thank you so much. nothing is going to stop those softball players. and historic landmark in san francisco took a big hit this morning. the clubhouse in stern grove park was severely damaged by downed eucalyptus tree. abc 7 news reporter tara campbell is live at the park tonight with details. tara? tara: yeah, j.r., this entrance to stern grove, the damage is evident. people are making their way onto the trails to get a look. downed trees and closed paths, stern grove taking a beating saturday morning. stormy winds wreaking havoc and just down the way, severe damage to one of san francisco's historic landmarks.

and checking out the storm damage. a lot of trees down, a lot of eucalyptus trees they came down in the grove, you know, a lot of water damage that is coming through here. tara: now, j.r., really emphasizing two people to please don't go into parks like this, not even stern grove, but any people venturing out into parks like this, because these trees can still be coming down. i will also note we did see that the city has added an additional closed sign here at stern grove. j.r.? j.r.: thank you. great recommendations for there have been 60 rescue since flooding flooding rains reached the bihari river levee -- per pajaro levy. it happened yesterday. officials went door-to-door, ordering residents to immediately evacuate.

multiple dive, search-and-rescue crews were sent out to search the area. so far, many pg&e customers are without power. traffic in the sierra continues to be impacted as this storm moves through the region could highway 80 in the tahoe area is open right now, but pain control effects are in place of both eastbound and westbound lanes. same goes for drivers on highway 50. part of state route 89 has been shut down on today in el dorado county because of the heavy snow. yosemite national park is close through thursday, march 16, possibly longer. a partial reopening on march 17 is the best case scenario. record snowfall has buried much of the park, which has been closed for almost two weeks. the rain will not be enough to stop an event designed to beautiful -- beautify and improve air quality in san francisco. the arbor day tree planting in

here's a look at live doppler 7. you can see right now, it looks kind of dreary outside we have spotty showers been nothing major is going on yet. here is the view on the top of mount tam, windy and wet, as you can see. upper 50's in san francisco and oakland. low to mid 60's in palo alto, san jose, 50 four half moon bay. it is a little damp but not pouring. mid-50's in santa rosa, -- novato, 61 livermore. our rooftop cam shows it is cloudy but only spotty showers. scattered showers through tomorrow with occasional downpours. the heaviest rain through this period will be in the north bay. we expect a stronger storm arriving late monday and tuesday. current storm on the exclusive abc 7 storm impact scale is a level 1 through tomorrow, we can expect more periods of showers and some downpour.

it will be breezy at times. here's the forecast animation taking us through the evening hours. it will be until late tonight we see a wave of steadier, heavier rain moving in, mainly in the north bay until the overnight and earlier evening hours, where it sweeps southward and eastward. low temperatures tonight will be mainly in the upper 40's to lower 50's, and tomorrow's highs, mid-50's at the coast, lower 60's around the bay shoreline, lower to mid 60's inland east bay and down into the south bay. here is the accuweather 7-day forecast. don't forget to set your clocks ahead tonight or early tomorrow morning. it is spring forward, daylight savings time. level 1 storms tomorrow and monday. monday storm will and despite level 2 by tuesday, windy, rainy conditions. wednesday, we start drying out. if this forecast holds up, we will be drying out through the remainder of the week. now, abc 7 sports with chris alvarez. chris: welcome to chase center, the warriors hosting milwaukee
