fallen tree and all the other vehicles were damaged the same way. tonight i can tell you there is some good news. a lot of the people who lost power because of fallen trees apparently they have their power back. they thought they were going to get their power back friday morning or friday night so some good news there. we are live here. >> at least they have that. amazing damage on that street to also on the long term cleanup list, potholes. sky 7 found a crew repairing those this morning. while repairs are needed hav two lanes closed did backup traffic. >> in woodside highway 84 was closed because of the massive sinkhole. caltrans says lanes in both directions between portola road and skyline boulevard are shut down. yesterday's storm put large cracks in the road making it impossible to drive in the area. santa clara county was hit hard

tomorrow. most of the houses do not have power. >> not only houses but businesses shut down with outages. the community left in the dark. >> we had candles lit and glow sticks. just went grocery shopping. like our food will probably go back storm a total of 450,000 pg&e customers impacted. >> we are currently working through the aftermath of the 13th storm event in the past 75 days. this has been the most impactful storm in terms of customers out in a city day since 1995. >> crews were out when staking the lights back on. the company says it may take longer than usual to restore everyone's power. and while the community remains optimistic. >> we are better off in some places. take it hour-by-hour and hope you will have power soon.

>> today governor newsom toward the stern ravaged monterey -- monterey county town of pajaro. crews completed the first phase of emergency repairs last night. governor says private support is coming but a long-term fix is still years away. >> the challenge is cannot go like that overnight and fix this. that is why it was soberly stated we are looking at a five to seven year process. as we were just on the levy i am not satisfied anymore than you are with five to seven years. million in funding to repair the levy last year. the fix is long overdue. there's been at least five major reaches since the levy was constructed in 1949. as more rain moves to the bay
