it was completed in 1854. both male and female prisoners were incarcerated there until 1933. it housed the state's only gas chamber and death row in 1938. the last execution there was in 2000 six. governor newsom announced a moratorium on executions in 2 019. the death chamber at san quentin is being dismantled. well-known prison. it has housed a number of infamous prisoners, including charles manson and scott peterson. two famously rehabbed former inmates are merle haggard and actor danny trejo. we sent out this alert and it made you easy to watch the governor's announcement live. you can download the app and watch this news as it happens.

should add blankets >> i was dumbfounded by the bill. i called to ask what was going on? >> pg&e said prices for natural gas despite this winter as supplies tightened and whether government utility bills rose 32% on average from november to march. any statement, pg&e refuted concerns it had profited from high prices, saying we do not control market prices for gas and electricity and do not the cost of gas and electricity that we purchased on behalf of customers. >> pg&e costs went up 80%. >> liz economist says west argot prices rose more than five times the national average. >> pg&e will say they are not making money off of selling gas. >> the state dependent on imports for 90% of its natural gas.
