galleria in san francisco you may notice more security. please are beefing up patrols after an increase in fights. gloria rodriguez joins us live with the details. you just spoke with mall management? gloria: i talked to a spokesperson who tells me they will not tolerate this behavior and they are taking it seriously. she tells me they are reviewing and enhancing security measures, tweeting the stonestown galleria has increased security and san francisco police are increasing patrol starting today. some of these finds have been captured on camera. disturbing social media video showed teens fighting on san francisco's west side. other teens gathered to watch the violence. in this video you can see security try to break up the fight. the supervisor tweeting the youth altercations at the mall in the last couple of weeks have resulted in physical injuries. she said she has been

communicating with san francisco unified because this has been happening during afterschool hours in particular on wednesdays. she tweets that services need to be made available now for healthy and safe afterschool activities. we did edit out parts of the videos that showed extreme violence. the supervisor also asked parents to monitor their kids social media and what they are doing. the mall spokesperson tells me this is a violation of their code of conduct and i looked at the malls website and they said those who do not act responsibly could be asked to leave and they refuse they could be arrested for trespassing. we reach out to san francisco police. we will let you know when we get more information. reggie: happening today bart police chief says the agency will address safety issues. kumasi: they will be adding more officers on patrol. lena howland is live in fremont with more on this. lena: good morning.

bart officials say in response to safety concerns of bart riders, bart officials say they plan to more than double the police presence of sworn officers on train starting today. that means an additional eight to 18 sworn officers per shift. this is as bart inspector general harriet richardson stepped down four months before her term was set to expire because of what she calls massive issues on bart in a meeting last friday. those at friday's meeting say crime continues to be an issue on bart and it is connected to bart not upgrading its fair. richardson says 80% of crimes are done by riders jumping the gates and not paying for tickets. this past thursday night bart says two people got into a fight on a train. one of them pulled out a gun and pistol whipped the other and the gun went off during that injury.

kumasi: that is a phrase, global misery, that i can do without. if i never heard that. reggie: i am surprised. 2019 was not bad. kumasi: look at this video out of the east bay. body camera captured and tense moments from the oakland storage facility. firefighters jumped into action early yesterday morning on coliseum way. crews had to use chain saws to cut through the front gates. the fire department says firefighters were able to save multiple storage units, potentially saving personal belongings and hundreds of thousands of dollars. this is what it looked like after all of that. the most severe damage appears to be isolated to one unit. reggie: some people in manteca are under evacuation orders due to rising waters. the ring we have seen combined with snowmelt has caused this flooding.

one resident says he will not evacuate. he has rigged a system to get through the rising waters, although he admits there is a lot of risk. >> that is a tall levy acr that back. in a high flood it breaks through. it fills that 144 acre section up. that is the real threat. that levy breaks. reggie: the sheriffs office says there currently no issues with any levees. authorities say they are monitoring the river level to determine how long evacuation orders will be kept in place. kumasi: cal fire damage inspection specialists have completed their survey of homes and businesses. crews inspected 858 buildings that were affected by the levee breach in monterey county. they found three single-family homes were destroyed, 400 were damaged.
