storms damage pg&e says about 500,000 families lost power at some point during tuesday at its peak there were 240,000 averages at one time this morning as you can see and and mitsui -- immensely improved situation. on the peninsula people are frustrated because of the storm damage they have been dealing with for months. one woman says a roadway drives to go to town has been damaged since january she says the lack of communication between residents and the county is making the situation worse. >> it keeps going we have had powerlines down eucalyptus trees fell in the middle of the night. >> thousands of people on the peninsula remain without electricity. >> we are looking for the biggest outages how can we get the most customers back as quickly as possible we are

>> really wild weather in los angeles a tornado touched down east of monticello. >> that is something you hear about every day a tornado in los angeles the national weather service has rated it and ef1 on the tornado scale check out the footage. >> did you see stuff? >> to put the ef1 tornado in perspective the scale goes from zero to five the wind was anywhere from 86 to 110 miles per hour it ripped roofs off buildings, damaged cars and injured one person. thankfully nobody was seriously hurt.
