and -- a weekend tradition, and although farmers market their backup, farmers are making up for lost time. think for joining us. a wet winter season in the bay area has impacted farmers markets and the family-run farms that sell produce. abc 7 this reporter cornell barnard details their post-storm struggle. >> we are happy to see the sun. >> leonardo has never been more thankful for good weather. it has brought customers back to the sunday fort mason 10 farmers market in san francisco, at a time when his sales are down 50%. >> for us it has been very hard. >> he works for jay some organics, a family farm in monterey county with -- which suffered from flooding. their strawberry crop was wiped out. >> we planted 15 acres and we lost like a third of it. so yeah, it is been hard. >> it was first thank god we needed this, and now it needs to be over. >> the drop busting winter

and mutual aid from other agencies may be needed if there is a big emergency. we are learning more today about the executive director of san jose's police officers association, who now faces drug charges. an neighbor who has known her for at least 15 years spoke to abc news. the 64-year-old was in court on friday accused of attempting to import synthetic opioid drugs, specifically fentanyl, from overseas with the intent to distribute them. this woman finds it difficult to believe her neighbor would be involved in illegal activity. she says there has never been any unusual activity at her home. >> the joann that i know is a loving mother, daughter, and grandmother. and wife. and she is a good neighbor. she has always been quiet and friendly and delightful to spend time with. she is an ideal neighbor.
