11:18 pm
way starting our forecast animation at midnight tonight. skies will be mainly clear overnight and the day will start tomorrow with the sunshine, but we'll see some high clouds coming in late tomorrow. that will be followed late tomorrow night just before midnight tomorrow night by a little frontal system sweeping through the north bay, the northernmost part of the north bay, bringing some light rain to some locations, not enough to really call it measurable rain, but what it will do for our forecast is bringing some colder air and some strong, gusty winds from late tomorrow through wednesday , so our pattern is going to change even though we don't expect any precipitation. so here's the wind gust animation starting 11 o'clock tomorrow night notice wins relatively calm then, but the coastal winds pick up rather significantly by nine o'clock tuesday morning, we'll have gust up to three miles 35 miles an hour or higher than later in the day on tuesday, we'll see gusts up to about 40 mph, or higher and in the inland areas will be gusty as well. that pattern continues into wednesday. okay? look at these gusts at 41 mph at three p.m. on the coast on wednesday, but the winds will start to taper off a little bit going into wednesday night, so
11:19 pm
changing the pattern coming on tuesday and wednesday, but at least it's going to be dry and it's going to be sunny, so right now 57 degrees in san francisco , in fact, mid to upper fifties at oakland, palo alto san jose morgen morgen mountain view, not markethill mountain view and half moon bay. and another live view from emeryville. looking westward. it is 52 degrees right now in santa rosa and mitch upper fifties at nevado, napa, fairfield conquered and livermore. these are forecast headlines mostly clear overnight , but not very chilly, sunny and mild again tomorrow warm inland again, breezy, much cold cooler on tuesday and wednesday. as i have already pointed out, so for tonight under mainly clear skies, low temperatures, mainly in the upper forties, too low fifties, so not a chilly night and another mild to warm day tomorrow with highs around the base shore line up to about 70 degrees are inland areas mid to upper seventies and here is the accuweather seven day forecast. it's going to be lovely tomorrow and mild once again, but again, breezy and significantly cooler on tuesday, sharply cooler on wednesday with highs around the baseline, barely breaking 60
11:20 pm
degrees mid sixties inland, but nope. no rain, no precipitation. then it starts to warm up gradually on thursday with a bigger jump in temperatures on friday, and finally next weekend back into the mid seventies again, much like what we had today, i didn't mean to be offensive with a silly forecast. oh sometimes it is, though i mean, it's good to see the sign . that's all right. thank you. much more to come on abc seven news at 11, including the climate change effect on baseball what a new study is now saying about our nation's pastime. now is the perfect time to visit men. seniors sleep world where you can sleep free for three years with temper pedic come in and experience california's largest selection of luxurious temper pedic mattresses and sets and take advantage of our limited time. special financing on deborah pedic, starting at just $47 a month. plus take home $300 in free gifts, providing the perfect night's sleep to californians for over 50 years.

11:24 pm
the bank denied their claims. so one victim tried to prove he really was scammed. seven on your side. michael feeney has more on this story. there is like a card stuck in the 80 m. malarkey recalls how someone stole his money at this chase atm card slot was glued shut. a man next to him offered help. he says. oh, you have to tap your card because it's been broken, and i was like, oh dang joey tapped his phone withdrew $60 in , walked off at all seemed normal until he went back to that 80 m and then the same man was there. that's where i was suspicious as joey withdrew another $60. the man came closer . he went up to the atm like right behind me. so i was like, that's not good enough. joey later found multiple withdrawals from his accounts $1640 gone like that happened to me. i scammed me last night at the atm machine. i didn't think anything of it. i thought he was just
11:25 pm
using the atm. my initial reaction was wait a second. i definitely did not withdraw that much money. the same thing happened to several customers at that. 80 m. they put glue. in the card reader of the atm machine bank manager told victims scammers pour glue into the slot so victims have to tap instead by tapping the transaction window stays open even after the cash comes out of a customer walks off without closing the window, a thief can step up and withdraw more money . i called them maybe 20 times within the span of that week, chase bank rejected joey's claim , just as it denied other victims, ruling that they authorized to the withdrawals. and they just pretty much sad. you don't have any proof of these claims. bankers told joey . he must have taken the money since he tapped his phone at the atm. since i didn't report my phone missing that i must have made these charges, which was not true at all. the bank refused to check the surveillance video to see who really took out his money. they
11:26 pm
said the police have to request the surveillance video they need like a subpoena. and so joey took matters into his own hands . he made his own video. every time i walk my dog, i would just look to see if he was there. and he was there one time from across the street. joey saw the same man lurking at the a. t m. secretly he shot this video, he says it shows the man scamming someone else. i told them i told chase hey, i have this video is this proof and they said no. just because you have proof of them. doing it to someone doesn't mean it happened to you. we contacted chase bank. it reviewed joey's case, and this time he got a refund. the bank also refunded other scam victims but has not said how it investigates the scams telling us we are making changes to our atms to protect our customers impressed, surprised because i tried so hard to get that money back. michael finney, seven on your side. new research, uh, tonight showing the effects of
