at fog development. 50 hayward, 49 san jose, warmer than yesterday, two to eight degrees milder. a look at emeryville. we will warm up into the 50's throughout 9:00. by noon, upper 50's to 60. sunshine, breezy at the coast. today is the sunnier and warmer day of the weekend. we will talk about a cooling trend coming up. >> police are looking for potential victims after a teacher in san bruno was arrested for sexually assaulting students. he was a second-grade teacher at an elementary school that is now closed and at another school from 2016 to 2019.

there are three suspected victims who have been interviewed. the investigation is ongoing. yei is accused of lewd acts. to the latest in the killing of bob lee. we are learning more about the case and timeline from the district attorney's office. here is how the charging document lays out the final 12 hours of his life. monday afternoon, 3:30 p.m., several people were drinking together that a woman's apartment. lee and of the witness left and went to his hotel along the embarcadero. that is where the witness hurriedly speaking with mo maney on the phone.

lee is seen on surveillance cameras injuring the millennium tower. cameras had captured his arrival. they leave together around 2 a.m. later, at 2:35 respond to 365 main street, where they finally with stab wounds -- where they find lee with stab wounds. despite those details, there are still many questions about the case. tim johns has been going through the court documents obtained friday. >> after the arraignment pushed back until later this month, bro jenkins appearing before the media friday afternoon. court documents revealing new details about the events that allegedly happened during the final hours of bob lee's life. the documents revealing he knew both them. although prosecutors have remained tightlipped about the nature of their relationship.

that narrative, saying the city has one of the lowest homicide rates in the nation. jenkins reiterating her office is committed to justice for all victims of crime. >> this is not indicative of the state of affairs in san francisco. that does not mean we do not have a lot of work to do. >> tim johns, abc7. >> momeni is scheduled to be in court april 25. new details in the police shooting that happened in newark thursday. the suspect had an aerial -- an airsoft pistol. three people custody in connection with a shooting last week that killed a five-year-old girl in milpitas. investigators believe the shooting of the girl is believed to be gang related. police say shortly before that shooting another person was shot by three people in a red honda in fremont.

police say the suspects are gang members. 15 minutes later, the shooting happened. investigators say the honda believed to be connected was pulled alongside the family's suv. the alameda county da says the suspect thought it was a rival gang car. a sant faces felony perjury charges for allegedly lying to a grand jury. prosecutors say anthony becker denied leaking a grand jury report about an alleged unethical relationship between several councilmembers. becker is also accused of leaking the report to a local media outlet. becker has yet to comment. the 49ers issued a statement saying they have cooperated fully with the district attorney's office and will continue to do so. in oakland, members of the african-american community are holding a press conference to address recent issues in alameda county, including questions

around new district attorney pamela price and the firing of armstrong. armstrong will be there to address the impacts of violent crime and what they call noncommunication from new oakland mayor in town and district attorney price. it is no secret. fair innovation is one of the problems bart is trying to get under control. now b.a.r.t. is moving forward with plans to revamp stations with new gates. this is what they could look like. b.a.r.t. has awarded the contract to a company to replace about 700 gates. the first are expected to be installed in november. people in monterey county are still picking up the pieces after severe weather last month brought floodwaters sweeping into their homes and fields. those fields have left families struggling to survive since there's is no work for them now.

lauren martinez spoke to some about how they are getting by. >> more than 1000 farmworkers and their families stood in line in downtown watsonville for food and other resources friday. >> the line never went down. it started out down the block. >> the nonprofit center for farmworker families say this event lasted for five hours. , farm work in's in november and begins around march, but after rain and flooding, work has not even started. >> this woman, who did not want to give her name, said since she has not worked since 2022, she came to this distribution event to ask for diapers and clothes for her baby. she has not received a call from her boss to return to the fields and has had no luck finding work elsewhere. >> it is not people don't want to work. they want to be responsible to themselves just as much as you or i.

top-secret clearance to information. out of japan, prime minister kishida had to be evacuated while at a public event after a man through an unknown device near him. officials say the item appeared to cause an explosion. kishida is reportedly safe. he was not harmed. according to japan's public service broadcaster, the suspect has been arrested on suspicion of forcible obstruction of business. this comes nine months after the assassination of shinzo abe. california converter thefts. here's a look outside. 5:36. we will check with lisa when we come back.

we will look out -- how far south it gets. it wants to bring in rain late in the day monday. whether or not this holds together, does not look likely, but if we see anything, should be little, and stay in the north bay. winds today generally light if you are not at the coast, but at the shoreline, 20 to 25 mile an hour winds. sunday, they will dial back before they pick up again and get stronger, up to 30 miles an hour for sunday, and you know the drill. this will continue into monday as that cooler air arrives. you may have noticed there's been talk about el niño returning. if you remember, 1997, we had a lot of rain. it doesn't always mean we will get above average rainfall but
