want you to know about him and later, a surprise performance. tom cruise takes the stage at the lion king kuna tana. abc news in new york. this is america this morning. good friday morning, everyone i'm andrew denber. happy friday. i'm really in an alley. we want to begin this morning with breaking news to us military helicopters crashing after a training exercise in alaska. three soldiers were killed. they were flying from fort wainwright in fairbanks, alaska, when the two apache helicopters collided near the town of heli while returning from a training mission. soldiers were dead at the scene. another died on the way to the hospital. officials are not saying what caused the crash. but just last month, nine soldiers died in kentucky when two black hawk helicopters crashed during a training exercise there in which the pilots were using night vision goggles. that crash remains under investigation right now to the weather in parts of the midwest are bracing for flooding
