about the a's management ownership he does not like them. he does not like them to put it mildly. it seems like there's more and more opposition to the a's going to vegas. is it possible that in one fell swoop they managed to destroy their leverage in both oakland and las vegas by making that ridiculous announcement last week? chris: yeah, let's backtrack to the announcement. why was it such a big deal? you remember. we talked about it many times. oakland was dead quiet once the new mayor came into office. it looked like they were not doing anything because they would not talk about the a's, not talk about the terminal. they would not do that because they had an agreement with the a's not to talk about howard terminal at all or mention negotiations or mention anything.
