>> this year 34 year old lind made history as the first female black agent to represent a starting quarterback in the super bowl, jalyn hertz, later negotiating a massive contract for hurt, paying him $255 million over 5 years. >> it means the world not only to set a precedent for what could be done, but, um, to acknowledge that when we women can do it too. she pretty, she pretty lit for doing that. >> it was their shared struggle that attracted her to lind and won him over. the athlete telling sport illustrated about their first meeting. she said i'm a woman, people are going to overlook me, people are going going to doubt me. they're not going to give me the due respect but i'm overcoming it just like you do and that where we really hit it off. we had the same vision. it's a vision that for the super agent started at a young able as she described at the hustle's key note event in 2018. >> these athletes came from a very similar background that i

came from. they grew up with rags and then they go drafted in the nfl and turn into riches. unfortunately they go back to rags. and that's so much bothered me. this is my community of people. thee are the people that come from where i come from so i need to figure out a way to help them. >> her career in sports starred with her own personal hale mary. >> i i was year years ole, i was on wall street, i went into my bought's office and quit. i said i need to walk in purpose. >> lind says one o her inspirations was the film jerry mcguire about a fissional sport agent with a heart. >> what are you going to do, jerry? >> show me the money. >> congratulations, you're still my agent. >> when you're talking about the oldest of the old boys clubs you're talking about the national football league and for women to break in, in any capacity, has been difficult. for her to breakthrough at a

relatively young age, work her way up, do all the homework, do all the right things, learn the business, and then breakthrough on her own, it's remarkable. >> lind not lean reps players, but other trailblazers in the nfl, like washington commanders assistant coach jennifer king, the first black woman to be a full-time nfl coach. >> we actually connected a the combine. it was like a conversation with someone that i had known for a while and it was just really comfortable. she wasn't pressuring me in any way. it really wasn't about things she can do. just things i wanted to do. i'm definitely with her wherever she goes. >> lind isn't going anywhere other than to greater heights announcing her pregnancy just days ago on instagram, and writing a book, agent u, to mentor others, a goal she lives by as she shared with the nfl network. >> i want to mentor every purse than i can but it's impossible so i try to use my social media as a platform to mentor
