building a better bay area. moving forward, finding solutions. this is abc7 news. good morning, everybody. >> i'm liz creutz. oakland unified students can expect to come in as usual on monday and that's while teachers continue their negotiation with the union. the union has made it clear it will strike if an agreement is not met. with just weeks left of the school year. union reps have presented 21 proposals, which include teacher pay raises. the district says they're trying to balance funding for all of the union's requests. and oakland teachers, parents and students are upset over what they call poor and dangerous conditions at the school. they rallied in front of united for success academy middle school on friday. the oakland teachers union says the school has a severe rodent infestation and multiple sewage leaks. we reached out to the school district for comment, but we have not yet heard back. all right, lisa, let's get a check of the forecast. good morning.
