work that is already underway by the san francisco police department. still today those in the city will see chp officers in specific high crime areas. this includes the tenderloin and south of market. this is not clear how many officers will hit the streets but they currently have 75 uniformed officers in san francisco. they have increased presence along with sfpd and they hope to deter drug officially a team of 14 national guard members will work behind the scenes to gather intelligence on cartels and drug trafficking. last week, bill scott said change on the streets would be the measure of success. >> the attention needs to be on the drug dealers that are making all of this happen. that is exactly where our focus will be. >> the mere presence of our officers being there will help deter and disrupt criminal activity. >> what i want to do is dispehae

lasted days. hundreds of customers in the financial district were impacted. as you can see in the pg&e map we are in the clear this morning. no outages to report. the outages started wednesday night when a fire sparked an underground transfer -- transformer. pg&e workers worked over the weekend to fix the issue. kumasi: the only shelter for the un-housed in the city of alameda is closing its door today. christ episcopal church played a critical role in providing shelter in the wet winter. it opens its doors full-time for the unhoused to sleep and critical services. last night was the final night that guests would be sleeping in the shelter before it shuts down later this morning. church leaders say they already planned to reopen next winter. >> we have begun to think about how this model will grow next year. who our community partner will be, and how it will be more
