atnorthbound 101, be careful as you move through this area. >> thank you. it occupies so much space. it is hard to imagine downtown san francisco without the nordstrom store. that's exactly what's going to happen. both of them will be closing. they are citing typical conditions. the westfield mall location is closing in august. that has been an anchor in the mall for more than 25 years. the nordstrom rack which is next-door will also be closing. that is in july. we put together this map to give you a better idea of all the other stores which had recently departed in the past few months. some, including officials of the mall are laming crime and safety as the reason for closures. it comes after safety concerns caused whole foods to close their markets last month. that's not the whole story.

officials after two people had been killed near campus, including one student. a third person is in critical condition, and 50-year-old david rose was found dead with stab wounds. there is a memorial whe 20-year-old uc davis students was fatally stabbed on saturday night. monday night, another victim described as a woman in her 60's. she was brutally stabbed in a tent. that prompted a shelter-in-place alert. the police chief says he cannot definitively say that all stabbings are enacted. police say the suspect's is very similar across cases. >> the attacks were brutal and violent. >> just arrangements rather than preparing for graduation.
